RM has to realise now that players like Barry are completely useless at this sort of level, they have no pace and our team is too big and heavy to progress at CL level. Fine for the Premiership but not at this level. Poor performances from some big players, Dzeko gets his start and again did nothing to suggest he merits starting again on Saturday. Defence was shambolic, we gifted them a couple of goals and at this level that is never ever going to cut it

There is more to it than just playing staff, Ajaxs team included players like Poulson and Babel.

Remember...none of you will be more disappointed than Roberto right now so resist the temptation to call for his head. Yes he errored at 1-2 by going to a back 3 but the team were collectively just not good enough tonight and we were beaten by a better team. Some of the players showed that they were not up to the task.
