Albert Rusnak

Could you please extend also on the touch line "dust up" at Peterborough aswell as the Rotherham one? When the Peterbrough Chairman McAnthony tweeted "worse case of small man syndrome I have ever seen today with Oafc Manager" ? Or the taking off his coat and throwing it in the floor and kicking it into your main stand . Honestly? Really? Do we really want our players sharing valued development time with this type? No we don't! Peterbrough chairman called him a complete disgrace. So he's been sent off? Had dust ups at Peterbrough and Rotherham which has gone public and more not made public so this is no tosh or mates sisters unles auntie as you wish it was. It's Live every Saturday in your technical area at 3pm. Rusnak cringing by the minute coz he is class and tbf so is your club but your Manager clearly is not!

You calling Mills from Burnley a "young kid" at at least his 3rd club? And played games in the championship? Vierra has done the right thing only via the media in saying that Albert should apologise but if he really felt it was the correct environment for a young player he would have made him apologise and get back to you and start playing. He didn't he said go and apologise then get back here ASAP. What does that say for your relegation slide ? Your Chairman always sounds brilliant. He won't allow your egomaniac manager keep bringing red cards no clean sheets FA fines for touch line behaviour 0 points per game and poor relationships with Premier league clubs for much longer. And I'm sure your Chairman must cringe every time your manager takes to Twitter. Bullshitttttters often win the first 200 meters of a 400 meter race but they never get over the line. Have a good look at Crewe on Sat. A club with class at looking after young players. Mind you well done to you too. You're centre half looks good.

I wouldn't say 23 is very old, put it that way. My point was that if LJ is such an egotistical, detestible manager, why would he extend his loan?

Rusnak has gone back because LJ does not want someone who doesn't want to put the effort in. Vieira didn't need to make Rusnak apologise for media's sake, that's garbage. If Vieira felt we were in the wrong, it would have been portrayed like that. City wouldn't lose any sleep not dealing with us agagain if he felt one of his players was mistreated. There's plenty of other local clubs to loan their players too. Instead he wants to keep the relationship the two clubs have and saw that it was best for Rusnak to return. Like I said, Rusnak wasn't forced on us, LJ watched him and got him. It's a shame for all parties that it's not worked out, but we've had many a loan player in the past that have put the effort in, like we have in Mills this season who's giving 100% every game, and keeping out a player we've just signed from FC Basel. If Rusnak had shown us, what he obviously shows in the EDS every week, then he'd be pushing one of our wingers out of the team...the fact is he wasn't.

"Keep bringing red cards" - we've had 1, which was in the last game, and the player is being punished for it because it was stupid. That's 1 in 9 games.

"FA fine for touchline behaviour" - I doubt Corney is that arsed about this, given the circumstances which led to said stoppage time rant.

"Poor relationships with PL clubs" - Bloody hell, what a comment. One loan that didn't work out and we have bad relationships with PL club(s).

You don't need to tell me about Crewe and their youth policy - it's top notch, and everyone knows that. Having said that, it's got fuck all to do with this though, so it's another piece of bullshit that's come from the tips of your fingers this morning.

As for the Tarkowski comment - finally, something sensible and realistic from you. Signed a new contract this summer after LJ praised him and stated that he was good enough to play at the highest level (something a few of us Oldham fans were skeptical about given past indifferent performances). LJ was right, though. Tarkowski is a bloody good player and will play at a higher level. We did well to fend off interest from Huddersfield just before deadline day.

You'll have to bring this bollocks from MacAnthony to my attention a bit more because I've not heard anything about this. The Rotherham one, as I have already explained, I am aware of.

Oh no, he threw his coat on to the floor. What a silly man. How dare he show a bit of passion/frustration. Why couldn't he be passionless like the classy Mancini. After all, he wouldn't throw bottles on the floor in disgust, he wouldn't nearly square up to managers like Fergie and gob off at all, would he?

Wise up, will you.

-- Thu Sep 19, 2013 9:56 am --

Come on Crewe

We'll probably batter them and they'll win 1-0. All because LJ took his shoe off and smacked it on the advertisement boards, shortly before getting the players into training that very same evening because they failed to acknowledge just how much damage his shoe caused to the advertising hoardings.

Here's another sensible comment... I watched your game V Preston and was very impressed. I actually tweeted I couldn't believe Latics were losing at HT, as you hammered Preston. Living in Oldham I do take an interest in Latics and have a lot of mates who follow them. My brother was also a coach at Latics and was a scout for them.

Back to Ruznak... Shame there may be a fall out from this, but the unwritten rule is that if you want them, play them. They are not loaned to bolster your squad.

Go away now. I want to discuss how we are going to beat United at the top of the Premier League then how we gonna play Bayern Munich off the park. Youve probably got Accrington on the same night in the JPT. As for the Peterborough incident You call your self a fan? Everyone knows that their Chairman was the first to expose your Leader. Do the homework sunshine and get ready for Crewe. They are gonna add all this up for you .

To be fair mate... LJ is a terrible appointment. Too inexperienced. Too young.

I'd give him a bit more time if I was Corney tbf but tell him to drop and stop talking about himself, regroup, get off twitter and be humble and start from Saturday again. See how this goes. You don't see Kenny Jacket or The Orient Manager behaving like this at the top of the league. 20 years older, wiser, . He could end up being ok

I'm only repeating what Latics 'ITK' people tell me....

This is a thread which I created to gauge opinion on Rusnak, and then discuss what’s happened until you piled in with this dross.

As for the comparison of City & Oldham – I was wondering when you’d come out with the high & mighty bollocks. A bit later than I expected though, so well done you.

As for the Peterborough chairman, not much of it has been said actually. Then again, anything said by that guy is to be taken lightly. He’s the same type of guy you’re portaying LJ to be.

-- Thu Sep 19, 2013 10:33 am --

We’ll see, mate. I thought it was terrible when he first came in, as we had to try and pick up the pieces with little time left after Dickov had left us scrapping relegation with a bunch of unfit players. Somehow, we got 13pts from the last 8 games when LJ came in, and we survived before the final day. That, alone, was an achievement in itself.

He then had to get rid of some deadwood and players who simply weren’t good enough, and then build a team capable of cementing their position in league one again before aiming higher.

The overhaul has been mental, but one that was needed, as the football last season was truly shite. Us fans were never expecting us to storm this league at LJ’s first attempt, we were just looking for some attractive football to watch (something we haven’t had for a while), whilst the new players bed in.

Yes, we’ve lost 5 from 7, but luck, and some individual brainfart moments, have been the real reason for this. Peterborough, Preston & Rotherham’s managers have all said this season that we were the better team, Rotherham’s, prior to our match at the weekend, said we’re the best team he’s seen this season.

The performances are their, but the results aren’t. Given time, I’m sure it’ll come.

Karl Robinson was a young when he was appointed and he's still plying his trade in League 1. I'd hazard a bet that LJ as just as many coaching qualifications than he does.
