Bertrand is a high calibre player. He's gone away and learnt his trade and would be of great value to a team who demand attacking fullbacks who aren't frail at the back. I know for a fact that he has and IS on the clubs radar.

You may be right, I'd be surprised if he signed for us though.

I know Kolarov wasn't the main culprit for Spurs' 2nd goal, but just waitching the highlights, why when that ball through is played, isn't a fresh legged player tracking the run and or stepping in to cut off the pass as he watches it unfold?

And also, on a side note - see how Clichy gave Silva a decent run in towards the 18 yard box behind the defender and then swept the ball in towards the penalty spot with a sensible amount of pace? Didn't run too wide and telegraph his run, didn't twat it really hard at anyone's shins, just calmly squared it into a dangerous area with a nice bit of weight. And (although he ISN'T the answer - we do need a new Left Back) Clichy is slated for not offering enough going forward.

Just some musings after watching the game yesterday and then the highlights this morning.

How many other teams in the Prem would take Kolly?

(Note to self - prepare for comedy reply from those more than happy to offer a lift)[/QUOTE]

Unless they are f*cking desperate and have far too much disposable cash, I can't imagine any team is desperate enough to take the over-rated and defensively inept Kolorov.

And his shooting prowess ???

He's no Ron Jeremy !

Spot on.

If Clichy finished that game, we wouldn't have lost, simple as that.

He set up the goal and would have tracked Eriksen for their second.

Kolarov - certainly not one of Mancini's better signings!! Makes everyone laugh slightly louder on the Christmas advert calendar, than when they are told he's meant to be a premier league defender.

still amazes me how the hell this guy has managed to be 6 years here? Was wank already in his first season and handful of good games since then, poor work ethic as well since day one.

My heart sank when i saw he was being readied to come on yesterday, and as it proved, that feeling was justified.Another woeful Pellegrini decision.

Me too
I had hoped MP would sit him back down after the goal went in (especially as Clichy set it up) but.....
