According to the Torygraph Johnson is telling people that he will be back next year as PM, and there were some people doubting that he'd gone full Trump. His delusions of grandeur are really quite staggering and the fact that it is unlikely that he will be a an MP next year never mind PM.

His plan is quite naked going forward really purge the party of any none Johnson loyalist. Then put a clueless fuckwit like Truss in charge and then watch her implode. Then 12 months later the tories party will be completely on its arse and gallant hero swoops into take them into fuck things up whilst he squats in number 10 for another 18 months.

Thats assuming the investigation doesn't find he misled Parliament (he did) in which case he faces a byelection so might not even be an MP by then.

In any event we now have an argument within where a petition of 7600 signatures is demanding the Party gets a yes/no vote on whether Johnson should come back. Talk about pandering to a minority. Still we know the old Tory adage - nobody elects a Party thats at war with itself

Unless he’s locked up he’ll be back.

He’ll be rushing through all his backers policies so that he can walk straight into those 5 hr a year, £100,000 backhander jobs that we see more and more of.
