All very hypothetical. I think the best we can hope for is that he doesn’t do anything stupid and crash the economy. There’s little doubt that millions will struggle over the next two years. However well Sunak performs, a recovery that people will actually notice is years away and would need a totally new direction policy wise that is not in the Tory’s manifesto. He’ll get the blame for Johnson’s and Truss’s mess anyway when it comes to the election.And rightly so - they deserve to pay the price
