Your South Korea has tested roughly half per 1000 people than Italy which suggests to me their numbers on deaths are not to be believed in the slightest given their population and population density.

You have totally missed the point that SK did track and trace, and focused their testing on that, so they got away with not doing as much as Italy and Spain.

I simply do not believe for one second their numbers. China, Russia the same, India, South Africa and i could go on.....

Pointing of fingers to these countries as to what we should have done i get but do not accept and the true numbers, some countries we will probably never get due to their politics wont be known for a long time yet.

Disagree entirely. They managed to control the spread unlike most western countries. 244 deaths would suggest about 30,000 infected, so a good proportion would have been tested. Our death toll of 21000 minimum suggests 3 million infected in the UK, so there’s no way that could be kept under control without the lockdown.

30,000 infected from a population of nearly 52 million and one of the most densely populated countries on earth i am not having given the patterns we are seeing and only at the end of this will we know who was and who wasn't truthful.

For the sake of South Koreans i hope they have nailed it and that we can learn something from them but now is way too soon to be saying that.

Yes there’s several countries where I wouldn’t believe the numbers. However there are demographic reasons why many developing countries won’t do as bad as some western ones. For example the average life expectancy across Africa is about 62, with many sub Saharan countries in the 50s. This means there isn’t the same proportion of elderly susceptible people so it could be rife there with a much lower death rate. Similar story for developing countries in South Asia.

So if a country has handled it better than the UK, their numbers are not to be believed? Got it.

And I suppose today’s report that the UK’s 22k figure could be underestimated by 55% is Fake News “out to get” our glorious leader?
