I think Pep could make him into an excellent midfielder though, but it seems we weren't that interested anyway.

I think he could be excellent but Klopp will run have him into the ground within 2 or 3 seasons
 
Great signing for them for what could be £50mil based on the wording

For that fee it does leave me a tiny tiny bit salty

Kovavic is a nice player to get, but at 29 we will know what we are getting which is a very good player but one who has never really taken his chance and who's very poor in the final 3rd

Not sure Mac Allister is "better" than Kovacic but seems much more suited to the roaming 8 positions of Kev and Gundo, plus I think he can get better under Pep

Have to trust that Pep and the transfer committee are on the money, as they usually are. Unless of course the lad had no interest in signing for us.

Would be odd given pep/de zerbi love in and alvarez here but each to their own and just because youre from same country doesnt mean youre mates
