No club goes to the other club first and ask to sign their player, NO CLUB.

Players always are and always will be approached by the buying club first, the deal is done with the player, then the buying club will contact the other club but ususaly through the players agent.

Player says yes/no
If yes proceede onto negotiations
If no look elsewhere

In one day a club will know if a player is interested.

Then again it is easier to tap the player up early so he can be difficult and get his fee reduced

I think he's a very good player but I don't think he's anywhere as good as Gundogan or Bernardo - if those are the players he's to replace. Who is though?!
