The price seems correct to me, Argentina winning the WC helped him and his agent a lot. Another version of Oxlade-Chamberlain for them.
 
I bet Brighton quote a higher figure later today.

I think he's a solid enough player but I wouldnt be too surprised if it's one of those where he's a great player in a great well drilled side. Brighton is a well run club who buy shrewdly and find players that fit. Players can sometimes look a bit ordinary when when they move elsewhere. Sure he'll hold his own and but i don't think he'll have a transformative effect on Liverpool

United?!? Arsenal?? Jeezuz, is that how far we've fallen in your eyes? We had a bad year largely down to problems he can help fix. Don't write us off just yet!

they both got champions league football and you didn’t.
I think Liverpool have fallen a long way
I mean you were outplayed by the worst chelsea team I’ve ever seen only 8 weeks ago
You had an easy run at the end of the season and won a few games but aside from that

Nah they have peaked big time
Still a good team but the desire isn’t there anymore
Mane was a huge loss
Gakpo is ok
Nunez is ok
Jota is ok
Luis Diaz - good if he comes back at same level
Salah - class but not like he used Tim be

Couldn’t disagree with you more. They have a very good squad with a real weakness in midfield. They are obviously addressing that this summer and imo will be right up there next season.

Klopp is a world class coach and their forward options are fantastic

I still think we are an attractive option and we will be a lot closer to you guys next year. It is/was a big rebuild (down to buying no one when we were on top) and it's very hard to do it quickly but Kloppo will come good.

Plus we are back on the cycle next year after our necessary year off the meds.

They have weknesses in defence too, think they'll struggle to make top 4 again unless they spend a lot of money this summer.

I don’t doubt Liverpool are a good team
And the levels they reached in the two years 97 points and winning the league the year after we’re amazing
But I think salah is not what he was, van dijk is not what he was and mane was class and is gone
To replicate that is gonna be hard
To be honest though they will be a lot better
