Let them all fight over Sanchez while we get a free run at Di Maria

40-50m seems to be the price Madrid want, no chance this summer mate.

I did not think he would be that expensive. If that is the case then I do not think we will ever see him here. We need a couple of younger players to bring down the age profile of the squad from next season.
We do not want to be in a position like the rags where all our elder players hit a brick wall at the same time and we end up having to replace the lot of them all at once,

Think I would rather we go all out for Sanchez, Di Maria would struggle over here without the protection he gets afforded in Spain. Sanchez seems to be abit more tougher (as tough as a modern footballer can be...) stuff than Di Maria.

Don't care what anyone thinks but if the dippers get Sanchez and another top class forward they will be fighting for the title again

People said the same about Spurs last season. Sanchez is a top player but he is not a player that makes the difference like Suarez or Bale.

I think United will be more of a threat that the dippers.

Talks on Luis Suarez are well-advanced, but deal not expected today. 80M fee dropped after biting incident. No players included. [catr rac1]

If this is true and no players are included then it will be interesting to see Liverpool's stance on Sanchez.

It looks like Arsenal are the team that are going all out for him though in England.

We will only go for him if Negredo is sold.

I don't think that Real Madrid is an appropriate supermarket for players. Athletico yes, but that other bunch are nothing but shysters and vagabonds. They picked up Di Maria from Benfica. We should be getting in there first, not trying to sign them 4 years later when they are 26.

Do we need him?

I am comfortable with our squad on the whole.

Sagna and Fernando are good squad signings.

If we can convince Dzeko and Milner to stay then we just need a CB. All the remaining budget should be spent on this position.

Left back is still a slight concern as I'm not a fan of clichy and think Kolorov whilst improved is still a bit ropey defensively.

Other than that it's ok for me.

Title between us and Chelsea for me with rags jumping to third.

We have to be thinking about the Champions League big time now though.

I just think when Sergio is out we struggle up top because our pace has gone and Silva and Nasri's games struggle because they cannot make passes for players to run on to because none of the other strikers have the pace, everything seems to be passed to feet.

Sanchez would add alot to our attacking game in my opinion.

I agree but I'm hoping Jovetic can stay fit sand give us a lot more going forward. He's lively and much more direct, I've seen him mix with Nasri and I think it's a promising combination. Nasri's a lot of piss and wind for me at times but with the intricate play between him and Jovetic and Jovetic driving forward we might be able to get a lot more out of Nasri next season (along with Jovetic adding to our attck)

But yea you can never have enough pace and Sanchez is electric with the talent to boot
