Alexis Sanchez

Sanchez is a better finisher and arguably as quick as Sterling when he's on it especially around the box.

The major difference is the football brain though Sanchez has one.

Pep is working on Raheem but I feel that is natural only so much can be trained.
Sanchez has a pretty good footballing brain I agree but I think Sterling's is not bad, he is pretty good at timing runs for passes into him, what he lacks compared with Sanchez is a bit of calmness in front of goal and I don't think Sanchez has the acceleration that Sterling has

This is a player who has scored a goal every 2 games to Arsenal and that's not playing as a striker. Then when you factor in assists as well......simply makes us scary to opponents.

So it's started.

24 hours to go and the hard negotiations begin.

Who will hold their nerve? Will City come back with an acceptable offer. Or will Arsenal stay rue to their word and keep Sanchez.

Either way, BM is headed for a meltdown. :-)

Arsenal have knocked back a £50million bid from Manchester City for Alexis Sanchez today, according to various sources who have clearly received a briefing from the club.

Arsenal wouldn't even be at the negotiating table if they wanted or thought they could keep him.

Arsenal are just playing to the gallery, this is how small time ****s operate when selling their best player. The fee's probably already agreed, they are just trying to look like tough negotiater's for the masses, a way of saving face. Expect a Second bid to be rejected before they sell deadline day.

Are you suggesting south east means good manners?

Hmmm..... I think you have something there!
They've always been pleasant to me. Very different people, but I find them decent to be around - and well mannered, yes, but a little cold. They don't have the same warmth, community spirit, or sense of humour as Northerners.

Call me crazy but to me it's very stupid to pay £70 mil for someone we can get for free in 10 months.

It's just logic defying, also I have faith in our team. Give the youth more chances and let's make our own Sanchez by showing that we trust our current team.

This whole transfer is baffling to me. Player addons or not. It's a waste of large amounts of money.
What's it worth for us to win the league and progress deep into the CL.

Sanchez is quick but not as fast as Raz...give Raz a few more years experience and whos to say he wont be as good as anybody with his final pass and decision mnaking.

As much as i want Sanchez to sign for us i would be gutted if it was at the expense of Raz leaving.
