So what's the plan, wait for the football to start before making a bid so they've got something else to talk about?
The plan is keep cool and wait.
Arsenal's hand is: we just keep Alexis and he helps us going back to CL, attracting new players next summer. That only works if Sanchez will work as usual.
The way Alexis turned up at Wembley and this weird abdominal strain now don't really improve Arsenal's hand I feel.
Getting closer to the end of the window Arsenal can decide between a player who has made clear he will be off next summer for free and looks a bit unhappy OR the big suitcase already lying on the table. WE are playing the clock down, not them. Not yet time for a bid.
Let's see how the season starts (Thanks God we have some other things to discuss then...).
Everybody knows where Alexis would like to be asap. City might even wait for Arsenal to come out and say they are "open to talks
as the player doesn't seem to be focused any more" (insert any other fantasy reason).
Well, worst case for BM - wait. :-p
