If this is dead then Arsenal are really a bunch of morons, Why the hell would they turn down £60 million to a want away player that will just leave next year. It is what it is but it just doesn't make any sense for them to have not looked at any replacement forwards.

It does seem unlikely that journalists aligned too Arsenal would say the deal is off and then Arsenal decide to sell. Can't see it happening now.
It's worse news for them than us. The bad news of the day is that we didn't get central defensive cover. That could come back and bite us

I thought Pep rated Sanchez just under the best players in the world.Why would you miss out for £10m more!
No way Arsenal will miss out on £50-60m on a player who doesnt want to be there and based on Liverpool couldnt care less about trying. Will walk about the door having done nothing to justify keeping him for a year.
