ALL things Rooney PLEASE! [Merged]

Many of you echoing my own thoughts. Here's a summary.

1. He was only going for more money but now is staying... for more money.

2. The money spent on him cannot be spent on the players that he was so keen to bring in.

3. He's a stroppy, out of form crock, who's over the hill according to many on sad cafe.

4. He's now getting more money but can still then go next summer, probably to Real. He gets a pay rise and the Glazers get a bit more added value cash that they will pretend is for re-investing in players. Probably one final pay day for Fergies as well. They are in the whole scam together with Fergie and Rooney!

5. Any sane Rag [oxymoronic, I know] will be questioning his commitment and loyalty from now on. He's not their Wazza any more.

6. It has become clear that he should never come to us. I personally don't care either way but was uncomfortable with the thought of so many blues being against it.

7. We can spend our cash more wisely, be that on Torres or some up and coming young thing, probably from the continent.

Job's a good'un! Cheers Wayne.

Re: Mickey Thomas

exactly! his first statement was that the club showed no ambition? have they found a pot of gold to all of a sudden have the money to invest in the worlds best players? NO!

have they offered him the money he wanted for his new contract? clearly...

so there talisman has taken then for a ride and plunged them into further debt! haha

plus it shows the rag fans up for what they are! the abuse they have given him (whore, he's shit anyway etc etc), lets laugh at the turn around!!!

and as stated by mancini, tevez and balo will do nicely for me, plus add torres or dzeko in jan.

So in the end it was all about wanting more money, the greedy pervert. To think the media tried to soil the good name of Manchester City insinuating we had any interest in this deformed deviant. Will the press be littered with stories of Rooney staying at United simply for an increased pay cheque? He clearly does not believe they are a team capable of challenging Chelsea so he can’t be their to win trophies. Will United be criticised for paying crazy wages to keep him at the club and wilting to the demands of a greedy young brat? I suspect not, we will probably hear about Fergie’s ‘mind games’, Wayne’s righteous refusal of imaginery offers from across the city and how nobody can leave ‘The biggest club in the world tm’ unless Fergie says so, that Ronaldo bloke’s best days are clearly behind him.

Maybe he has played the yank owner, but pretty destructive way of doing it. I think he's just bought more time, and he'll go in the Summer - by then he'll know if he's in CL, and the promised investment arrives - he'll know if his form has returned - he'll know about his domestic situation - colleen and the sister, and if a move from the NW is possible. he's in meltdown, as are utd, to even do this publically. He'll go in the summer, whener depends on Coleen.

-- Fri Oct 22, 2010 1:28 pm --

Maybe he has played the yank owner, but pretty destructive way of doing it. stolen from rawk which made me laugh

Imagine all you had to do to double your wages was basically call your boss a liar, then tell him your company was going nowhere and you didn't trust your colleagues, then all of a sudden you double your money. Bizarre

Haha.... brilliant.

There's so much fuckwittery exposed by this story; Rooney, Utd 'fans', the club... all of them so quick to sell each other down the river. What a fucking embarressment of a club.

Looks like Tolmie has nailed himself to the mast too, let's send them down the table with Rooney in their team... because there's no way their structure has changed just because Rooney said so. Or is he actually bigger than the club, either way, win-win hilarious.

Re: Mickey Thomas
