Altercation at Terminal 2

For those condemning the officer for kicking/stamping the aggressor "under any circumstances".

I have read an article today stating that IS what he was supposed to do.
The protocol for dealing with an extreme aggressor when your weapon is drawn is to protect your weapon at all costs.
That means you keep your weapon in your hands at all times. The use of feet to suppress/subdue can be permitted, as is lethal force. Only an idiot would start swinging at an armed officer. They are actually very lucky people.

If he had just been knocked out. The officer wouldn't have known the guy had been tasered. He intention would have been to incapacitate until the threat went. He WOULDN'T be the one cuffing him, as he had to keep his weapon safe. His job was to secure him.
After he was sure he was down, he would have then moved onto the next threat. The other guy etc.

I'm not saying that is the motive for the kicking though. It could have been revenge/loss of control.
I posted from the very start that it didn't look good, but those making early judgements should wait for more info. Unfortunately, the forums apologist were straight out in force.
The people making this a race issue are also morons.

Fascinating reading this thread. It's either people who fiercely dislike people of Pakistani heritage or people who fiercely dislike police officers. And some who hate both.
I disagree with that mate.

I just read through the thread. I think these ensuing arguments would've been exactly the same had the attackers been Jewish or Hindu, French or Australian.

Others can't abide the kick in the head, doesn't mean they hate the police per se.

There will be experts studying these videos in great depths, people on here are giving their opinions. That's what forums are for but I don't see any Muslim hate, there is an overriding hope that these thugs are sent down for what they did to those police officers.
Personally I don't understand how anyone can behave like that in an airport, a place that any reasonable person behaves themselves and appreciates the stressful and dangerous job those police are doing keeping us safe.
I wouldn't do it for 4 times their wages.

On Thursday, their then-solicitor Akhmed Yakoob said Mr Amaaz was kicked in the head by a police officer.

Mr Yakoob claimed a CT scan had found a cyst on his client's brain.

Mr Yakoob is no longer acting for the family, which has instructed a new lawyer.

The family's new representative said Mr Amaaz was "traumatised" and due to have further scans.

Their representative also said the family had "real concern for any police officer injured".

I think the family have realised the copper could get sacked & rich from a ‘go fund me’ & the first solicitor gets rich from fame & becoming the new renta-gob for GB news whilst they can be looking at some serious bird.

Like an amalgamation of all my posts, thank you.

Perfectly put.
The only people making it a race issue are the ones who twatted a female copper

Thank my lucky stars I flew into terminal one on Friday, no problems there.
There's no problems most of the time. Not exactly sure why somebody should launch a violent attack on police officers which involved punching a woman. Its a shame the focus is on the police officers reaction.

Maybe because one was a law enforcement officer and one was a scrote. One was kicking someone in the head while they were on the ground and stomping on their head and the one on the ground was a scrote!

One of the things happens all the time, the other is (hopefully) a once in a lifetime crime!

How many ways would you like to hear why the focus is where it is?!

The members of the public who assaulted the police officers should be punished to the full extent of the law.

The police officer should be removed from armed officer ranks AT A MINIMUM. But, I think he should be charged. With what, I’m not sure, but you can’t be a thug with a badge and a gun.

It has already been shown that there are huge mitigating factors though. The officer had been twatted in the head and probably had concussion, his fellow officer had also been seriously assaulted, he also had to protect his own firearm.

If that was happening to me then yeah I might kick somebody to make sure they stay down. They're human as much as they're police officers.

What would of happened in your country? Those two scrotes would be dead now and very few would of shed a tear. In my mind considering what they were doing and considering where they were and who was involved, they're lucky to be alive.
