Altercation at Terminal 2

Whatever they’ve done prior really doesn’t change anything .

Is it ok to boot a person laying faced down , neutralised and not moving in any circumstance? That is the only question.

What happened prior is In sequential.

Everyone knew the police wouldn’t do it for a laugh or randomly, they did it because there was some sort of altercation shortly prior - of which you would assume the person laying on the ground was involved with and was likely in the wrong.
For the 3rd time…. The copper wouldnt have known the thug had been tasered

That aside, Is it ok for a copper to boot and stamp someone in the head laying faced down on the ground - some will say based on the melee before hand yes, some will say no.
It’s a matter of opinion really.

I already assumed that was the case.

I never assumed a police guy saw a bloke laying on the ground and thought he’d boot him in the head for the sake of it.
Quite a few did a firearms officer doesn’t lose it like that for fuck all, now its out in the public domain all bar a few can see the officers actions are understandable.

Im not the dibble’s biggest fan but I think this one needs the support of law abiding citizens who use airports and other public facilities to make sure they can travel safely to and from their destination without having to put up with abhorrent behaviour by whoever feels it is ok to behave like a wanker

This bloke has hardly a mark on him considering his attempted assassination according to his lawyer

I’d say after seeing that video that a lot changed. The media hung that officer out to dry and that video provides some context into what he was actually facing. Two officers already attacked and down, him facing two absolute crazed attackers, he did what he needed to do to control a horrendous situation.

It's changed nothing. I don't think anybody was seriously expecting the other footage would paint the suspects in a good light. I think everyone assumed there'd been a violent and chaotic lead up to what we saw.

But the situation was very clearly under control when the officer kicked and stamped on him.

The CCTV definitely goes a long way to show what kind of people the suspects are and it will no doubt be used against them when they come up in court themselves, but it doesn't excuse the officer stamping on his head.

To be honest, in that CCTV clip, the situation only escalates into violence when that same officer slams the first guy's head down into the machine. He is the first aggressor (in that footage). I'm fully prepared for the fact that more footage will probably emerge which makes the suspects look even worse but that CCTV clip in isolation doesnt really do anything to exonerate the officer.

In my opinion, the police should do what needs doing. I have zero sympathy for what the thugs got because their actions deemed that whatever followed was asked for

You cannot start throwing punches at police. In a high security situation like an airport, where the police had guns
