well said mate
well i'm doing the moaning and i go too both easy and hard to get to games as does my daughter as we have the points
but what you two dumb ***** keep ignoring (because you are in your OSC bubble) is that we are moaning because some twats use the supporters club to keep their mates in tickets and that reflects badly on the OSC
and it does affect everyone else regardless of how you two keep trying to make out its though its those of us without enough points

on a side note i've been a member of the OSC before the O since 1972, both my parents were made life members and my mother was on the exec for years

so stop your fucking patronising if you don's mind

ps sorry about the language but you two have been pontificating on here all afternoon whilst your members get tickets they are not entitled to, and that does affect others, no matter how many times you say it doesn't
Another touchy response . First Point i have never been a member of the OSC & have never got a ticket through them .The reason i have benn "pontificating" is that some on hear are so tunnel visioned .What about all the other groups who get them for there mates there is no complaint there from anyone . instead of coming on hear & slagging other blues of who have a different view on things why dont you complain to the club .If you know first hand about t**s in the OSC who get tickets for there mates report them .to MCFC

and thats why why i said if at the start but what i do know for afact is they dont get anywhere near what they ask for for games like uited or blackpool away

No, your first line said 'they did' after I asked why they didn't get rid of all the tickets for the so called 'unattractive' game. It wasn't a sell out, far from it infact so that doesn't actually ring true does it?

Of course they don't get as many for United or Blackpool away because more or less everyone wants to go to those fixtures. Doesn't mean they don't get more than their fair share of tickets because they do, believe me.

What evidence do you have to support this

They get a fair share for the hard games but not what they want? Well, if the members had enough points (like the OSC claims they have when they request the tickets) then they would get as many as they ask for, surely?!!

Oh and if you knew where I got my info from you'd know I wasn't wrong with my Spurs comment :-)

so how many went to spurs then?

Think thats the most childish post you've made on this thread so far!! I could so easily make a figure up and you would have no idea whether that was accurate or not (I choose not to bullshit figures unlike yourself). I don't have to prove what info or contacts I have - plenty on here will confirm I am telling the truth. Nice try though! ;-)

i have
and mcfc don't give a toss as prestwich blue has already said

i've had mates shafted by branches on tickets, some have tried to scalp me with tickets from branches and mcfc do nowt

yes i'm touchy, especially when i'm the one who has to go and explain to his little girl she can't go to the game because some **** with a mate in the OSC has her ticket

There's nothing I can do to prove it, which is why I said believe me rather than claiming to be able to prove it (how COULD you prove it by the way?), but I have been around enough supporters branches and their members to witness it going on. I wouldn't dream of naming names but there are people on here who have had tickets they wouldn't normally be entitled to ie getting tickets to the away derby without having a season ticket let alone enough points.

Why dont you tell she you might have been able to get her one but the Players get a load they give to there mates or that people in the Exec boxes got some for there friends . or that City have sold a load to Agencys .or that ex players have got some for there mates .Or that Sponsers like Sky & Thomas Cook have got extra tickets or that mcfc staff got some & gave to there mates or that people on Bluemoon got a ticket to get points & are getting rid of it on the forum &that is why she cant get one .why just single out the OSC that is what i cant understand

hahaha
players, family and friends are entitled to tickets
when you buy a hospitality package you are given precedence for tickets, stated clearly on the web-site
city don't use agencies for away games
sponsors, again, are entitled to precedence, all official and above board

the OP was regarding the OSC, which is why my points are directed at that particularly body

perhaps you should start a thread about one of the above shysters you name and then i'll gladly give my opinion on them, however this thread was about the OSC which is why i'm contributing my thoughts on the OSC

Unbelievable! City fans having a go at each other over a system that has been around for ages and as all Blues know, will not be changed by the club. So loyalty is based purely on how many away games you've been to. I bet the ones moaning have never missed a Derby game for years and now it looks like they might they dont like it.

Right, I've just spoken to I need to you know with me 'not having a clue' and it seems I was wrong about Spurs, it WAS a sell out (see dw7 you were wrong too, you said it was ALMOST ;-)) HOWEVER, it was nothing to do with the OSC taking extra tickets. The supporters club took minimal allocation of tickets. So, I apologise for being misinformed for a while but it still proves my original point.

See dw7, I'm big enough to back down at the point where I was wrong :-)

Exactly.

While it would seem true that there are people at supporters clubs getting tickets that they aren't entitled to through loyalty points, there are many others without sufficient loyalty points attending because they have got someone with enough points who isn't going to the match to buy tickets for them. Others buy tickets just to get the loyalty points and then sell the ticket on.

The problem is that the system allows it and will continue to until someone can come up with a better/fairer system but let's not pretend that it's solely related to the supporters clubs because it clearly isn't.

And there lies the truth.

Now.

Why can't the OSC branches submit a list of names with their respective loyalty points, who wish to attend the next away game? Once the loyalty point criteria has dropped for each applicant, then the ticket get's sent to the person at the OSC organizing the tickets. If it's good enough for us, it should be good enough for every OSC member(waiting until the points have dropped, so you can get/claim your ticket), regardless of the amount of loyalty points you/they have.

And no, it isn't any extra work for the OSC branches. The person orgnaizing the tickets will eventually get all the tickets, as and when, and they can hand them out on the day of the match/journey.

As I have already stated. YOU JUST WAIT UNTIL DUBLIN OR WEMBLEY. IF WE GET TO EITHER FINAL, THE SYSTEM VIA THE OSC'S WILL BE ABUSED TO F***, UNLESS CITY CLAMP DOWN ON IT BEFORE HAND.

fair do's

if the supporters club took a minimal amount (i dont know what it was) its what they asked for but they wont get what they ask for for blackpool

And this brings us to the original point - if the members have the required points they will get as many as they request!!!!!!

every system is abused if we get to dublin and you get a ticket on your seasoncard and for some reason cant go will you give it back to mcfc or give/sell it to a mate
