Angel Di Maria

I know football is all about opinions when it comes to players but Di Maria is ordinary? WTF....are these the same people who think Navas was a waste of money, the guy who had the most assists in la Liga last year? Or the same ones who think Fernandinho is ordinary as well, despite Jamie redknapp who's played the game at the top level and has no reason to suck up to city being quoted as saying a midfield with yaya n Fernandinho in would be nigh on unstoppable? If we don't spend 40m plus on every player and every target walks over hot coals to get to beswick there's too many toys being thrown out of prams...its getting fucking stupid..... And breathe, I'm ok now....
navas did not have the most assists last year, he had 6. Ha had the most chances created though

City were interested in signing Di Maria before his move to Real Madrid and at 25 years old there is still a lot of years left in the player.

With Di Maria on the left and Navas on the right, we can say goodbye to those pesky 0-0s with the likes of QPR and losing 1-0 to Sunderland every season.

How much would he cost? With him and Navas in the side we should be able to create chances against the bus and have plenty of pace against the high press :) But again, are we even in for him? Atm it is hard to tell who we are going to target, not a lot of concrete links, hope we are working on someone though behind the scenes. Txiki and co. keeping it quiet and it is so frustrating!

Some of the shit getting written about Di Maria in this thread, is up there with all the bollocks written about allegedly paying over the odds for an "ancient" 28 year old midfielder. The fucking bloke would bring so much in terms of pace, ability and crossing to our team it would be brilliant.

Navas right, Di Maria left and Gomez up top=champions elect!.

Why on earth people don't rate him is beyond belief and at 25, is hitting the pomp of his career. A big fat YES from me, should we go for him.

Would make sound economic sense aswell. around 20 to 25 million for a player like him is cracking business in today's market, especially with a resale value even if he stays for 4 or 5 years.
