Guys, lets seriously cut the bullshit. He is a top top player. If United get him, it will be a fantastic signing.

Do not understand why he would want to go there seeing as they don't have champs league football and that their team is piss poor. Would be all about the money mind you.

Think Bayern might have their say on this with Robben not getting any younger. Especially when they have been linked with him several times before.

Shame we aren't allowed to spend due to FFP, this is the one signing that would make our team so complete.

THE perfect signing.

We all have opinions,if I thought he was a great player I would say regardless of who is buying him.

Would not want him here, to inconsistant, his head drops to much when i have seen him play.
Good player on his day but comes across as a bit of a luxury player.
Agreed

We seriously need to fuck Platini off completely and go and sign him. With Di Maria in our side, we would win the league easily IMO. He is the equivalent of Hazard, runs at players, direct, skilful, creates goals and scores goals. We have not got a player of his ilk in our side. We have got a lot of creative players, but not one like him who can pick the ball up and beat 4 or 5 players with a mazy run down the wing. Yes, we have Navas, but Di Maria is more productive, he scores a good number of goals where Navas doesn't.

We need to sign him and make our money back in shirt sales.

He is THE one player we need to push us for Champions league glory.

Can't believe some are dismissing Di Maria. He was a revelation last season asked to play an unfamiliar role sometimes in midfield when he is his best at a more forward role. He got on with it and even excelled. The guy is a top player. Having said that it will be interesting how lvg will fit him in the current 3-5-2 formation. But the dickface is anything if not flexible, he may switch to a 4-3-3 to fit in Di Maria.

Surprised at the criticism he gets. He might not be on the same level as Ronaldo and Messi but he is up there in the level below those two. He can win games on his own, is able to mix his game up and is a real handful. He would be an upgrade on Navas for us because of his ability to do more than knock it past a player and run onto it. Don't get me wrong I rate Navas, he is quick and brilliant at crossing the ball - but Di Maria would be class.

The Rags current system can't accommodate Di Maria. They would need to switch to a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 with him playing wide of one striker. I've said before that Van Gaal has fucked himself royally by making Rooney capt to keep him happy, but clearly wanting V.P and Rooney to both play together. That means you have to then shift their best creative players which is moronic but brilliant from our perspective! Shaw, Jones, Evans, Smalling, Fletcher, Fellaini, Di Maria, Rooney, Mata, Van Persie... would get ripped apart by more balanced teams like ourselves.

What about Navas/Nasri?

they would need a close to WC caliber CM for that.Even a Dm might do, united under baconface were shit in MF but their forwards saved them.

What more do you want though?

He gets man of the match in the CL final, scored a good number of goals and racked up loads of assists last seaon. He was absolutely brilliant for Madrid last seaon. Him and Modric were their best players. He is a brilliant player. He also turns up in the big matches as well.

Real Madrid are a joke for selling him, they should just pay the big money to keep him and play him week in week out. He is far better than James Rodriguez.

If available we should be moving heaven and earth.A player who is genuinely world class and will improve our first 11.Plus he's Argie, enough said!

What about Navas/Nasri?

Navas is not a starter and should not be considered one. Very good player but not WC class. He is a great impact sub.

Nasri, no disrespect to him, is not in the same class as Di Maria. Di Maria offer pace and dribbling and is good enough to start. If Nasri and SIlva start but not Navas and Aguero, we don't have any pace. He'd solve that problem. Also having DI maria assumes we would sell negredo, that means we would have 3 strikers, so there will be games in which we play 1 upfront and 3 behind and games in which we play 3 in the middle. So everyone wil get good games.
