That surprised me. That's the one group I'd expect the season ticket rep to be on. I certainly was.

Don't know about the thick skin but, this being a position in the spotlight (we're all moaning fuckers at the best of times and need little encouragement) whoever has the SC hat on City Matters needs to be out there and visible.

I used to take some shit on here & Twitter but it was important to be visible in my opinion. You definitely need a thick skin though.

I imagine the abuse he received on here and elsewhere played a part, as well.

Haha. Well I sort of meant that within the combination of reasons. Don't know PB personally but strikes me as somebody that wouldn't be a nodding dog and would fight our corner. Least you'd know they'd made the club fully aware of the general sentiment amongst the fanbase instead of just being personally happy with their own season ticket price. Be a real shame if the abuse on here did contribute to his decision. Bet the club were glad to see the back of him.

We finally agreed a process for rotating reps and it was me and the over-65 rep who agreed to step down as we were the only 2 left from the original 9 (plus Kevin Parker).

But I was ready to stand down. Four years was enough and there were other reasons why it suited me.
