Nothing to be positive about !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Defensive Italian shit and no idea about how the PL works.
Sorry but was and always will be a "Hughes should have stayed" fan.
At least we played with a bit more passion.
Name me a game since Mancini been here, where we,ve played well. How convenient to bring him in,when the first 4 games were against crap.
At least Hughes showed how to beat Arsenal twice,Chelsea, drew at Liverpool and only lost 3 games was it in a 20 game span !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cook and laughing boy Marwood have a lot to answer for !!!!!!!!
Don,t come on here spouting give him time !!!!!!!
Were fucking going backwards and be lucky to get in the TOP 7 on these performances !!!!

Hughes averaged 1.7 points this season.
Mancini (Defensive Italian shit and no idea about how the PL works.) average 1.9

Tonight was the same FA cup where Stoke beat Arsenal not the PL!

Portsmouth h,Wolves a, Blackburn h, Bolton h, Stoke h. That's what we've beaten. We've drawn with Stoke & Liverpool & lost to Hull & Everton. That's where Mancini's 1.9 pts per game as opposed to Hughes 1.7 have come from.

Here are some teams Hughes has played in the PL that Mancini hasn't: Tottenham, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Man Utd. Perhaps after those games have been completed, the comparison would be a bit more accurate?

Yes, me. Can't believe all the negativity I am reading. So we lost to Stoke...the same team that put Arsenal out. The same team that are unbeaten in 2010. We went down to 10 men (unfairly I think) but I honestly don't think that we played badly. How many teams have you seen play great football aginst Stoke. They are an extremely tough team to play. As for everyone calling for Mancini's head, do you honestly think that yet another new manager is the best option. FFS he has only been here 5 minutes. He inherited the squad and maybe, just maybe, they are not the right players to play the style/formation of football that he wants to bring in. I have been a blue for over 40 years and have seen the good and unfortunately a lot of bad. Sure we have millions at our disposal but throwing a team of superstars together does not guarantee instant success. We ARE in 5th, we do HAVE some great players and we DO have a manager with a record of success. Some of you have very very short memories and have quickly forgotten where we were in the not too distant past. FFS give it time instead of expecting world domination overnight!!

So what you saying is he should buy (although he had the chance in Jan) players to suit his style/formation, but that does not guarantee success?
I think he did the right thing personally and by the time Summer comes, he will know exactly who he wants to jkeep and who he needs to replace. What I am saying is that it is far too early to start calling for his head and we should give him time to make his own team and work with it for a while

He had only just arrived shortly before the Jan transfer window and I think it takes a while to fully appraise the squad before panic buying! Is it not prudent for him to establish exactly what he has got to work with before splashing out on yet more new players?

thats how i feel, don't think we'll make a europa place if we carry on playing like this.

not arsed about cups? what! madness!

we scored 10 goals @ home all season 3 years ago so it could and has been a lot worse!

hughes was lucky to be in a job after where and the way we finished last season! mancini will sort it out! i hope!

it will all click in the end

much better away support tonight and more songs about city than the rags for a change

bring on chelsea

dunno. we are getting into the positions where we should be winning matches, and throwing it away. I don't know what else Mancini is expected to do. the shape tonight was perfect but we blew the chances and yet again gave them a goal from a terrible mistake. If I'm not confident about top four it's because of the apparent ability of some of the players to throw away games, not because of the manager. let's face it, we were throwing away leads and winning situations when Hughes was here.

Big Mal was equally full of bravura as Cook. Mal's "we'll terrify Europe" quote was 12 months too early. Let's hope Cook's comments are the same.

It will come for us, no doubt but we can't have it all instantly, it just doesn't work like that.
====================================================================================================

The difference is Big Mal was/is a great football man and Cook is a sportswear salesman !

My positive is, even though we conceeded 3 goals, the back 4 still look solid and alot better recently, it's a shame tonight kompany couldn't partner lescott, but kompany had a great game in the middle.
