You are in their database now, they will sell this database in 10 hands and everyone will call/write to you one by one, so if possible it is better to change your data - phone numbers, emails and so on.I trade forex and about 3 years ago the broker I used had a data leak and they got my details..virtually every week since then, I've had Indian scammers ring me saying I'm due a refund but they need details of my bitcoin wallet..if I'm not busy I have some fun and keep them on the line, until telling them to F off and get a proper job.
they obviously thought you were from OldhamNot so far ..... but for the last couple of weeks I've been getting dodgy phone calls containing recorded messages that claim to be from the 'immigration bureau' , on three different mobile numbers, all of which attempted to give me some 'instructions' to follow ..... i smelt a rat and just cut the fkers right off !
I've only been in the country for the past 67 years, lol!
I’d say the scam is the link to pay. Whether that be a malware loaded site , or banking details harvesting.Had this one by text yesterday, I don't drive and couldn't park a decent argument if I tried :)
The scam to the best of my knowledge is that you call the number at the top of the text message and they charge you a fortune because it's a premium line, vile bastards. (I have omitted some of the numbers for safety reasons.
Ofcom should be into these straight away premium lines shouldn’t exist anymore.Had this one by text yesterday, I don't drive and couldn't park a decent argument if I tried :)
