Anyone else completely emotionally drained today?

The players will be fucked after last night. Doubt any of the starting XI would have trained today.

Today I imagine it'll be all recovery work; cryo chamber, stretching, pissing around in the pool playing water volleyball etc...

They will, but a days rest and then you tell them they've got the chance to go and win a league winners medal on Sunday and they'll soon be buzzing again. It would be ideal to get it done, at home, on Sunday. A couple of weeks then to rest up and get ready for the FA Cup final. Rotate players, keep everyone fit and in form. Wrap the league up and then look forward to the two finals.

It’s usually the day after the day after for me.

I’ve been too buzzing today to feel anything but elation. Tomorrow I bet I’ll be in bed within half an hour of getting home from work.

Starting to catch up on me now. All that emotion in the stadium drained me more than I had expected. Doing the Poznan at my age seems to be adding to the fatigue but that's life, I suppose. Looking forward to feeling just as fcuked on Monday :-)

It was repeated on cbssn last night. I said cheerio to him indoors as he rolled his eyes and went to bed. Poured myself another very large alcoholic beverage and watched it with a stupid grin on my face.

Shouted my head off last night. Had two pints of cider at the game. Got home watched the whole match again while drinking a bottle of red, Malbec I think, crawled into bed at 1 this morning up at 7 luckily working from home.
Had the match on in the background shifted a few emails about.
Still buzzing now and I get a feeling that this will carry on until Sunday!
Already booked Monday off - fingers crossed.
Mrs has just asked if we can go to Cheshire Oaks - I have said yes.
City shirt on because there’s usually loads of dippers knocking about.
