Way back in the 60's when I was a boy of about 10 or 12, my older brother bought every Beatles, Kink's, Pretty Things singles and LP's just after they came out. I used to play them after school and at night when he was out. (He would've killed me if he'd known).
The Beatles usually had about 4 singles and 2 LP's a year and as each one came out I played them....a lot.

I still can recite every word from every song they made (about 200 songs)

I can still do the same with 60's releases from The Kinks and The Pretty Things.
