Probably THE worst place to visit as a visiting supporter back in the 70's/80's ..... they seemed to have an abundance of yobs, from Leeds and beyond, who were absolutely hellbent on defending Yorkshire!

Now that does take me back. When I was a lad in the late 60's / early 70's, Leeds were always our fucking bogey team and I did used to despise them back then as well.

It's like when Aaron Cawley attacked Paul Robinson on the pitch at Sheffield Wednesday. Leeds fans were cheering him and his family defended him.

He was rightly given a life ban but Leeds fans were still offering to get him a ticket for matches. I'd want any City "fan" out of our club forever for doing that.
 
No. Liverpool.

Not only is it brilliant fans of both clubs winding up Rags. But in terms of football, its the big hot fixture that people care about.

Like it or not, Man Utd are slowly becoming an irrelevance in the league.
 
United will always be the rivals for me.

For fucking decades they rubbed my nose in it. Even when we were in Div 3 they couldn't help but laugh when we lost to garbage and even when we went up we got zero credit off them. Even back to back promotions they just laughed at us. Players like SWP, Benarbia, Morrison, Goater were ridiculed by them and I won't never forget it.

Don't for one minute let anyone tell you the scousers are our rivals. Enjoy this city team and enjoy the trophies and rub every united fans nose right in it. Make sure you keep telling them Aguero is the best striker in the PL as if he played for them they would be building a 60 foot fucking statue for him.

I am bitter and always will be

Correct, living and working in Mcr as we slowly got worse and they dominated under Ferguson was a nightmare. Reds who were friends and colleagues mostly (not all) acted like right twats. Can remember in Div 2 season all the gloating 'I can't get a ticket for old Trafford mate' types at work every week. God I wished I still worked there the day after the 6-1, or the Wembley semi, or the Aguero day etc etc.

Yeah Liverpool fans on social media are weird as fuck, but really is no comparison.

I'm that bitter I still text all my red mates on the 23rd of September to wish a very happy and prosperous 5-1 day!!

As for the 1-6 it's still like it happened yesterday for me :)
