The most frustrating thing about this situation is that it's probably going to take another 70 to 100m this summer to sort out our defence and more strength in midfield.

We should be in a position where we maybe just need 1 top class player per season to integrate with the rest of the squad.

Normally at this stage you would ask just for one or max 2 replacement but when you see again you fill find you have to replace richards, one of clichy kolarov, lescott, demichelis, rodwell or garcia, upfront Dzeko

Every season we seem to have multiple players who need replacing, whether that be to poor previous windows or players inexcusably regressing in their game.

What's with the knee jerk reactions? You being overrated depends on how highly you rated your team as individuals to start with. Not going to lie but thought all this talk (by some fans) of a quadruple and treble were arrogant to say the least considering Arsenal were still left in the FA Cup and you have to win your 3 games in hand to go above Chelsea on GD.

The football should come first and the talking after. Your team is undoubtedly high quality and one of the best in Europe but that doesn't mean you're entitled to win every game regardless of the opposition. Occasionally there will be times when you are some teams game of the season and they will do their all to get even a point and some times they will succeed. That doesn't make your team shit or warrant talk about your manager deserving the sack etc. Take Valladolid for example, beating Barcelona 1-0 yesterday. Doesn't mean they're suddenly overrated or their manager is going to get the sack. The problem is, you rate yourselves higher than you should do at times. You're not going to win every game and you're most certainly not going to win every competition in an individual season.
