Born in a Manchester council house in Bredbury , Stockport to born and bred Manc parents and grandparents, But am i a Manc ? Wish I was , but it doesn’t say from Manchester on my passport.

Born in Withington, raised in Levenshulme, teenager in Burnage... Left Manchester 40-odd years ago and never looked back.

Manchester ain't the great place it used to be... a long way from it, and I'd definitely  never go back to life there.

Am I proud to be a Mancunian...? I certainly am.

You can take the boy out if Levenshulme, but you'll never take Levenshulme out if the boy.

I am very proud of where I am from. Having said that, I left a long time ago and going off some of the posts on here, I’m not sure I still would be had I have stayed.
