I tell you what, 10 men or not 10 men, if my team played like them cheating cunts, I’d be absolutely furious with them. Arteta has them playing like prime Wimbledon.
I know the players adhere to Pep’s instructions but sometimes, they have to take the initiative. Foden has done that on a number of occasions but I’ll put it down to not being fully in the groove yet. There are a few times where a first time shot would’ve been ideal.Screaming for him to move to Dias position. He can shoot and so him and Foden as the threat would
Means they have to close down leaving gaps. As it is they kept letting akanji and Dias have it and we kept doing the same tired ritual
Totally agree. I know a lot will criticise the performance but when you're up against that... not just the first half but the deliberate block on Rodri after 2 seconds, and the knock that got him injured, dragging Edi down for the second goal and so on;snide little dirty fouls that are hard to spot. They obviously know how inept Oliver is and played to it. That might scrape you through the odd tricky tie, but it will never win you a title. We’ve learnt a few lessons there, in that it’s hard to play against anti-football dirty cheats.
We always try and play with integrity. This Arsenal team is the opposite.
Someone please check on @Eccles Blue - she won’t be seen for a week after that Stonesy goal!
It didn't work. We should be winning that. Getting a draw after being 2-1 down might be a result against 11. Against 10, we should be beating them.It was horrendous. Let’s do the same thing 8 million times.
Having said that, in the end, it fucking worked :)
