We weren't great today and it was a slog but then again the leaders going into this morning offered no real threat, feigned injuries whenever we got a sniff of momentum, were allowed to foul at will with impunity and defended their 18 yard line with 11 behind the ball.
What did Doku do so wrong today compared to Foden, KDB, Haaland to get the mauling he's getting on here? I thought we looked better when him and Grealish came on. Foden was playing his 3rd game in 9 days and nothing came off for him - Southgate's insistence of running our players into the ground in meaningless friendlies again is a joke.

For me we are playing with far too slow a tempo in games. Think back to the performances at the business end of last season, we were blowing world class teams away with our intensity.

Both teams were poor in the attacking department.
Not sure if Taylor was on a bonus today for not dishing out cards and fouls but by god he was awful
