Arsenal - Post match thread

Good post but I think it started on Mancini's appointment; I wasn't a Hughes fan and found his tactics and personal manner appalling but how they disposed of him was poor by anyone's standards. That's when the fans and the club began to part ways
Yes to be fair I had forgot that Hughes was treated pretty bad and again it was leaked before. I thought it was just the Mancini to pellers shift but you are right. There is probably a lesson for the board as this regime has not been able to keep appointments under rap and it causes bad feeling and disruption. Probably need to learn from this one.

Anyway looking forward to next season , summer here and we can move on. The league is the most important competition for me so come on.

Crazy game. Large parts were amazing but we're just left with worry.
Some of our greatest play all season. Speed, risk, just going for it. Brilliant first goal, Navas a nice chip, Fernandinho headed it back and Sergio with the fantastic finish. Second was even better, Kevin completely lost the ball and still went on a great run and a stunning finish.
I guess their second goal happens in football, but can't be happy with the first. Big mistakes by Clichy and Mangala who had good games otherwise. Fernando was the octopus, great overhead clearance and game Otamendi. Don't know if it was tiredness or subs didn't help but we couldn't score when we needed it most.
So 3rd is still possible but we have to be pretty lucky, 4th is quite plausible. Can only hope and see what happens.
I would've stayed at the end, but it's just personal preference. I don't begrudge those who left, especially as they've paid their hard-earned money, I just would've liked to clap them once more for the good times at least.

This is what happens when you deliberately appoint a 2nd rate manager because your golden boy isn't ready to come for three years. I'm pleased we've got Pep but we've sacrificed everything and taken a huge step backwards, we put all our eggs in one basket and we've paid the price. Hopefully the powers that be will realise you cant run a football club like that. If a top manager isn't available then you appoint the next best thing, not a fucking stopgap like we have, running a football club is about the here and now, not gambling everything for someone who will come when they decide they're ready.
Post of the thread.

I thought the fans who left in their thousands today are an absolute fuckin disgrace. I was embarrassed by the size of the crowd left to offer our outgoing manager & players thx for their endeavour on and, & as Joe Hart says a disappointing season. It looks like we're turning into big time Charlies like the wankers in Trafford. If you left early because of a commitment then ok but if you left coz you weren't happy enough with 1 trophy, 4th place (so far) in the league and a semi final in the Champs league then you can all fuck off, you spoilt twats. Go to OT & support them....wankers
I wish everyone would have left at full time. We owe them nothing.

Bony's shot flies 6 inches lower and there are 40k people left.

I don't go. But if I was there I'd have given Pellegrini and his staff a round of applause. He's been treated disgracefully by some fans, some players and his employers.

If I was a top class football manager I'd go no where near City, fast becoming the biggest poison chalice in football.

Our players are the real let down. No matter what Pellegrini does he can't force them to give 100%. They are paid professionals, that should be a minimum requirement.

I've fallen out of love a bit with City today.

Yes that why pep the best manger in the world is coming.

Amazed that people are criticising other supporters for leaving at full-time. All this parade bollocks after the last home game of the season before anything has even been decided is a pile of modern orchestrated horse shit anyway.

But even more amazed at people now slagging off Joe Hart based purely on the say so of that cheating twat Henry
