I am also an NZ blue. The thought of getting up at 3 for that shower of shire does not appeal at the moment. But I know I will wake up and not be able to sleep so will end up watching it. If they have any pride at all they will repay the fans with a decent win on sunday/Monday.

I think ther will be a big difference in performance from Madrid, where the early loss of Kompany knocked us sideways ( quite literally !)
Arsenal at home, a must win game, players itching to put Wednesday behind them with a good performance.... As long as the fans get behind the team, and create an atmosphere, otherwise Arsenal will feel at home!

I don't think this is correct. A maximum of 5 can enter if a team who finishes outside of the top 4 wins either the europa or CL (obviously the latter isnt happening). Where did you get your info from?

It's easy after his last two performances. People criticise Pellegrini for rewarding poor performances and not rewarding good ones, then they themselves do the same in their team selection! Kelechi should be in.

I know our record against top-8 teams this season makes for depressing reading but if we do beat arsenal won't be that bad a season.

Considering the injury list, few top players no longer at their best and issues with tactics against pressing teams, that's relatively decent ahead of hopefully a good revamp of the squad thus summer.

If Kolorov figures in this match in any way it'll be a disgrace. There are lines that aren't crossed and Kolorov has crossed them.

He shouldn't be anywhere near the club at the moment, let alone the team.
