As an aside I remember a certain club fronting up when a player took something he shouldn't and took the appropriate action which avoided strong sanctions. As for the most sanctimonious club in the premier league....

We've had a bad couple of games, and so have Arsenal. The difference is we built up a cushion and played OK in the Champions League. You just have to accept defeats like that when they come along, knowing that teams like Juve are quality. Croatia Zagreb on the other hand are a poor team so the storm clouds are going to be gathering if Arsenal get knocked out by Spurs. Their fans are very frustrated at the moment.

Being reported that Stan Kroenke has taken £6m out of Arsenal in last two years for "strategic and advisory fees." It's not like he's the Glazers, who are almost certainly cash-strapped. The man married into the Walmart fortune.

has Gabriel had his red card rescinded? if so that is ridiculous by the FA. Maureen will be spitting feathers, which isnt a bad thing. Both players should be either banned or neither. Seems wierd to ban costa and let Gabriel off. I think both should have the red card.
