Will the Arse get shafted today ? something will have to be done by Pigmol soon to peg them back to allow the scum to cheat there way into the title race ,might as well make a start this weekend as corruption seems to be allowed openly.
Came on here to say exactly this.
Spurs will win today with a dodgy decision.
Now the rags have a bit of a chance of a title challenge and there is an opportunity today for a large gap to open up at the top, they will be on full 'do what's best for the brand' mode.

Raggy Webb will have been on the phone to Pawson to give him some "advice"
After yesterday, Attwell will be in line for Arse v Rags next weekend

Every passage of their game is like watching an 17/18 game of ours. Expansive football with a lot of freedom. So frustrating to watch that we’ve (Txiki) has let it go stale with a few bad decisions in the market.

Hardly any dynamism in central areas anymore and, as Pep has said for years, that’s the most important part of the pitch. Frustrating if we had Foden and Grealish in there, I bet we’d be so much better to watch.

Worse defensively? Maybe. But at least exciting and attack-minded.

Still lots of games left. Good players and energetic team but see them dropping points in the coming weeks. Also personally feel Saka is overhyped and not the mentality monster arsenal fans make him out to be. Could see them falling apart quite Arsenal like come Feb March april

Anyone worried about our support after that pathetic showing needs to give their head a wobble. On course to win the title in your derby, pathetic support.

dont quite know how Arteta got this run together, completely unexpected.

15-2-1 in first 18 games, only game they lost vs United away.

very solid defence of Gabriel-Saliba with strong screening from Xhaka/Partey front of them. top form from Jesus, Odegaard, Saka. and even the likes of Martinelli, Zinchenko put in a very good shift each game and pull their weight.

Arteta aint as strict regarding control as Pep, he does not mind games being bit more open as it also gives them chance to pick apart defences easier as teams do not feel (yet) to sit back that much against them.
quite a few of their goals came from counter attacking situations, that is almost dead for us as we have very few chances to counter attack, even when some finally possible we strictly slow down, turn back, revert to type, let defence go back to park the bus and we recycle the ball as usual usually going back to Ake/Akanji/Stones from a possible quick breakaway.

also I feel like their two wingers put in a much better shift off the ball defensively than ours. Martinelli and Saka helps their defence more than Mahrez/Grealish for example. also the Xhaka-Partey duo is much more of a help of the defence than Rodri all alone.

not mentioning Jesus, while he was fit he always worked his ass off even at City, closing down defenders, pressing, and just being pain in the arse of opponent usually.

we kind of lost that work rate this season, you dont see KDB, Grealish, Mahrez, Haaland being crazy/hungry off the ball to win the ball back.

i think part of the issue with arsenal right now they have freedom because very many teams actually sit back against them. the one that did was newcastle and you could see the frustration.

i dont think its as much to say weve gone stale i think that 17/18 team we had more freedom cz teams had a go at us.

i think the central areas (two 8s) have become an issue this season for me because i feel bernie has checked out and wants to just go and gundo is not at the level anymore and contract is up at end of season.
