Playing with a lot of desire and energy

This is how I see it too. They've played well, risen to every challenge thus far and are deservedly top. Let's see if they have the staying power for the long term. If they do, I will take my hat off to them.

Similar to when Liverpool won the league a couple of seasons back. Not outstanding but at the minute they are getting the job done and getting the fortuitous decisions. Currently they have the better defensive record (although ours is partly down to not having a key defenders fit for long periods and we have only conceded 4 more goals).

To be honest, I don't think you could predict we would be challengers, I don't even think any Arsenal fan would have predicted it. Everyone hoped for a top 4 challenge.

Of course we could. Arsenal have spent the most since Arteta went there so clearly mean business, and went from two 8th placed finishes to 5th with points totals going 56, 62, 69.

Everything was going in one direction at Arsenal.

Selling you two players with multiple Premier League titles winning experience who are both utter workhorses and two of the most dedicated players to the cause you’ll find, was either naïve by City or stupid.
