If Reece James could stay fit, he would be good for us. Physically so strong, quick and has very good feet. Also, he likes to defend 1 v 1 as well as attack, great asset IF he stays fit
Waste if he keeps up this injury record
If he could stay fit I'd be quite happy if we broke the bank for him, we'd have right back sown up for the next decade. Staying fit seems to be beyond him though.

Not only that, were giving out contracts of around 300k to Saka. We had previously PEA on a contract of that magnitude even though in retrospect it was an error. Arteta is demanding more, & we appear to be becoming more aggressive and active in improving the playing group. Rumours Smith-Rowe and Nketiah might be sold this summer to make cash and make room for replacements. This has shocked me, as a few years ago no way would we have considered the sale of two good academy players. But Arteta seems to be striving to improve and raise not only our ceiling, but our floor.

My honest opinion is Saka, Odegaard and Martinelli couldnt be bought for less than 100m pounds at a minimum. I could see us turning down 130m for Saka if it were offered. Were not bidding 85m for Mudryk only to turn around and sell Saka for 100m. If we have 90m to buy Rice, we can say no to 100m for Odegaard.

This whole notion that this season was Arsenals sole chance to win the league is not true. We will keep knocking on the door & we are primed to make it happen if we get it right and things go our way
Saka needs to stop diving and completely unlock his talent, not 130m though.

Btw, why do, mostly Cockney’s use that term “only to turn around”? I’ve never seen anyone respond to a situation by “turning around”. Very strange, bit like green gravy you sell down there.

Lol - yes we seem to be in far better shape than the last time we got to the Champions League final where we were so depleted and tired towards the end of the season. Maybe instead of Tarquins you should be called "The Pacemakers"!

Thanks for the congratulations and kudos for being a level headed fan. I have been shocked at the vitriol directed at Arteta and the rest of the Arsenal management by the likes of Lee Gunner on Youtube who seems to want to throw away the progress that has been made by your club in the last couple of years.
Where we have been different than previously is on the injury front. It is truly amazing how few we have had and then only in 1’s and 2’s.

At present only Ake on the list with a question mark over De Bruyne and his general health.

We have only used Lewis, Alvarez and Laporte sparingly , whilst Phillips, Gomez, Palmer & Ortega have hardly got a look in.

P.S. - Cancelo who?

Probably his size, and that he is a power type athlete really = hamstrings going ping like a sprinter as well, or will happen

Love it when fans sing that. really shows up their lack of historical football knowledge - i just file anyone who sings that as no nothing f uckwit and they are best avoided!
TBF I enjoyed singing it to Leeds the other day cuz it's fucking true!

KDB's mental health included in that I assume - I suppose really talented people are a little like outsiders looking in - he reminds me of that type of fella

Mad Mikel saying they have done well because City have the capacity to finish 10 points ahead of second. Well Mikel if we win our game in hand it’s 7 with 2 games to go, which isn’t a million miles away, especially given how far ahead you were

It will be interesting to see how they perform tomorrow, it could go either way. Forest desperate for the points and a racous crowd, if they feel sorry for themselves they could drop points. Alternatively with a bit of pressure off they could run riot.
