Will be extremely surprised if they don't have a minor collapse at some point.

We just need to focus on ourselves, if we can rediscover our form and rhythm and get through what will be a difficult January, there will be ample opportunity to hunt them down.

Arteta didn’t only not tell Pep and Txiki he wanted the Arsenal job, he actually told them he wasn’t going to take it… then met with Arsenal in secret in the early hours of the morning at his house and took the job without telling City.

Pep didn’t know anything about Arteta leaving and he said learnt about it from the press when they were outside Arteta’s house taking pictures of that early-hours secret meeting and printed it the next morning. Reports at the time said Pep was furious with Arteta and Arsenal.
Unfortunately oh so true and thats why I could never trust the twat again.

This is the key point. It's all about what we do from here on in. We can laugh all we want at Arsenal, United, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea but we're not tearing up trees at the moment and if we don't start playing to our capability soon, it won't matter what the others do.

A frustrating night but Newcastle got their tactics right. So, we settle for a draw…could be worse. Would the result have been different had Jesus not been injured? Maybe but then again, maybe not. I posted some days ago that if we are to maintain a title challenge, we needed to strengthen in January. That looks confirmed now after tonight’s result so it’ll be interesting if we manage to secure someone (preferably a striker).
Let’s see if you post on here when you capitulate, Dipper’s have made this mistake, you’ll do do as well, I only know one Tarquin follower, he’s a wanker who never goes to a game.

Last night was an indication of the looming going to pieces that is around the corner ............. said it a while ago they have a few dodgy results and they will fall .......... the way the fans, the players and the fan’s reacted last night proves that ......... they have had no pressure on them at all until City’s draw with Everton and suddenly folk think they can win it which throws big pressure on them .......... next two games are huge for them ......... win both and they have a chance but got a feeling that they may only must one point out of the two

Pep is about to fill up his digger with blue diesel to start ripping those trees up, one by one until we can see the trophy through the woods, you have to believe mate.

Our Tater seems to think that the Arse should have had a couple of stonewall, nailed on pens last night. Well, if he'd have paid proper attention whilst he occupied a slot on our bench he would have realised it's not a new phenomenon. I've counted hundreds of penalties the whistling wankers interpreted as 'a Crappenberg-patented coming together'! And on more than one occasion we've had a yellow card for being fouled in the penalty area!

The fans, the arsenal fans, what a set of wankers, shouting var var after a handball incident, they are the nearest thing to an American fanbase in this country.
There was also some loud booing for some reason as they came off at half-time. Wenger seems back in favour for some reason with the hypocrites, it won't take long for them to turn on Arteta again.

I wasn't impressed with them at all after the first 5 minutes. Yes there was some decent football but, fuck me, it's not on City's best level, or anywhere near.

Hopefully we turn our corner soon; hit our straps, then catch up and pull away.

Credit to Newcastle defensively, and the suggestion that the penalty decisions were 'scandalous' is absolute crap. Imho, both sides should have had 1 for shirt pulling; I thought Newcastle's was nailed on in the first half when Byrne was pulled down in the box and Gabriel had clear hold on his shirt. If they'd gone ahead then, just before half time, who knows how it would have panned out. I thought the refusal of a handball penalty was fair, but, given that it was Arsenal at home, I thought they may have got it, so, credit to VAR for supporting the absolutely otherwise dire ref - who's name we dare not utter in case we ever get him again!

Arteta made a total dick of himself with his Klopp style petulance.

I expect Arsenal's usual old January and February slump will gather pace, snowballing over the next 6 weeks now that their bubble's burst (sorry Jack).

Jack and I have been posting on here for years when we've been horseshit. Why would we disappear just because you will beat us to the title?

Once a **** always a ****.

He was a snide nasty little shit as a player in case you’ve forgotten.

Unfortunately Arsenal have needed a manager like this for a long time and it’s paying off - he is getting those young players fired up every match
