Tarquins complaining that Oliver has given them 8 red cards, as proof that he is against them.

Most of them were nailed on reds, even the contentious one or two you wouldn't say it was an outright wrong decision.

And they forget that he's given 6 reds against their opponents.
Problem is though there are undefendable cases. Kovacic gets away with two leg crunchers on Odegaard and Rice. Webb later said Oliver didn't want to 'interfer' with the game by sending a player off.

Okay, so why doesn't Oliver apply the same leeway to Trossard? Why does Oliver send Trossard off for kicking the ball away which should be considered a far less offence than Kovacic going studs first into Odegaard and Rice?

We Arsenal fans know Oliver is going to apply the strictest standards to us while he shows latitude to other teams. The body of evidence Oliver is against Arsenal is enormous. Statistically Oliver is an outlier when it comes to issuance of red cards, yellow cards, penalties against Arsenal when compared to the average across the rest of the referees. Then there are numerous anecdotal cases that just add up to the point its undeniable. Too many decisions dont make sense and they are always against us. Oliver doesn't like Arsenal and he has no problem refereeing lie he doesn't like Arsenal.

He is getting barely any support for this decision. A textbook professional foul that is a yellow card, buy Oliver decides to upgrade to a red - he doesn't issue that red card to any other team, especially you

Complaining to City supporters on a City forum about unfair calls Arsenal get. What exactly are you looking to accomplish here?

So Oliver and his family have had death threats. The Bluds are turning into Scousers. What a horrible bunch.

Every club suffers from good and bad decisions. The fact that you're going back to Kovacic to find one that we've benefited from is telling.

And I'm not sure why he wouldn't give a red to any side, "especially us". Sounds a bit like weirdo conspiracy stuff.

You sound very similar to an Arsenal supporting friend of mine. Looooong arse rants about statistics and what aboutery.

You realise this obsession is part of the reason your team keeps bottling the league? Excuses and lack of belief stack up and have riddled them.

One thing nobody can answer for me is this. Why?

Why is there a grand conspiracy by the league and all the refs against Arsenal?

Until this year it was "corruption from UAE" but now City have no chance of winning the league it's gone quiet on that, almost like it was always complete and utter bollocks. Is it corruption from America now that Liverpool are winning?

Thought it was a yellow on first look, but looking at the slo mo replays and some stills I can see why they said red. I don't think they'll over turn it now, precisely because arsenal have made such a big deal out of it and there isn't enough to suggest it was actually wrong. The decision itself, yellow or red, you can justify either as it sits somewhere in-between and in the 'what ifs'. There are many tackles like that every week and very few are given as red, but it's at force and and it's studs. Could have put the lad out of action for a while and it is the intent that is key, no regard for player safety and was very deliberate, so the referee has all he needs to justify it. That Skally character is fast getting himself a reputation as a proper little shite isn't he, wasn't he booked before he even made his debut for being a snide bastard?

But regardless, as others have said, a siege mentally can work wonders but arsenal and arteta are just taking it to extreme levels and inverting it to almost flat earther levels, to the point that that fan base are getting all whipped up every single week about something and can't see anything other than their own opinions.

Surrounded the referee too, they need calling out for that one. As for the fans abusing Oliver, I've seen some shocking decisions and I've questioned the bias of many a referee. Game management is absolutely a thing and there are other factors involved for officials beyond what is the actual correct decision. Clattenburg and others have admitted as much. But to threaten someone's life, their family and kids, regardless of club and colours it's unacceptable. What arsenal and arteta need to accept is that, regardless of the decision, their behavior is helping morons online justify their aggression. They have a responsibility to act and behave in a way that shows professionalism and respect, even if it was incorrect.

What I would say from an officiating point of view is, if that is the standard, let's see it every week with some consistency then please. Clarify why it was deemed a red and let people know. Even in real time maybe. That works shoot down a lot of the theories before they take hold. We see balls kicked away now not being carded, for example, and they're setting themselves up for controversy.

It's the symptom of Arsenal's whole reason for failure. We've felt the same before, but the attitude that got us to rise above it and actually win, was to be better. Be so good that poor decisions can't impact a game, don't moan, don't cry. I get it's upsetting to lose the league every year but honestly to blame everyone else is a shyster's trick and, simply, untrue.

They won the match, they can survive a few games without that player as he's hardly key, so take that and maybe focus on a bit of self control, from the players on the pitch to the keyboard warriors hiding in their bedrooms. Because arsenal now have a reputation, and that could well feature in the back of anyone's mind, including the officials, as they're human too.

You get more red cards because you're a snide little football club that have tried to Simeone a major trophy after bottling a top four finish, bottling the league twice to us, and bottling the league to the scousers. The problem is you're as good at the dark arts as you are Pep-ball: nowhere near as good as the original, and then looking to blame anyone else for your failures.

So now you and soft arse club are cry-wanking conspiracies on socials to mentally protect yourself from the reality of the situation: that your football club are a footnote in a decade that has been dominated by City and Liverpool who have done more than your pathetic little club have done in your history.

You need to focus more on your team’s obvious flaws than conspiracy theories about Michael Oliver.

Just watched ref watch reviewing Arsenal full back red card v Wolves.
Their verdict was yellow only.
To me this was a player deliberately crunching an opponents leg with the ball nowhere in sight and an obvious red card.

Some people have properly gone down the rabbit hole. It's been going on for a while now and it was idiotic for pundits and journalists engaging in these conspiracy theories.

It's no wonder police are now involved.

That mouthy little gobshite had no intention of playing the ball, putting 6 studs halfway up Doherty’s leg. PGMOL should just come out and say it how it is.

There is little sense in var decisions let's be honest, how do they explain not sending off Martinez for a two footed tackle last night ? they can't, it's all a bunch of inconsistent crap and they need to be heavily criticized for it, the problem with the tarquins is them acting like refs have got something against them, even if you think the red cards this season were wrong and for me only the Wolves one was, they have evened it up with the ridiculous shenanigans they allow during corners.
