If they offer it again in the summer, Villa should take it. £60m for a 29.5 years old that’s main asset is speed.Villa should bid £60m for Saka.
Same chance of success.

Is that how much we offered? That's too much given his age - could get Gyokeres for that.If they offer it again in the summer, Villa should take it. £60m for a 29.5 years old that’s main asset is speed.
That’s what’s been reported. No idea if true.Is that how much we offered? That's too much given his age - could get Gyokeres for that.
You could bid 60 for him…getting him. I doubt it.Is that how much we offered? That's too much given his age - could get Gyokeres for that.
Yeah just read up on it. Doesn't make sense. Suspect it's the Kroenkes shithousing our fans when we sign nobody - 'we tried to get Watkins but Villa wouldn't do the deal'.That’s what’s been reported. No idea if true.
Watkins no, Gyokeres possibly at that price. You could bid 60 for him…getting him. I doubt it.
If Villa are selling Duran, then there was no chance Watkins was going to move.Yeah just read up on it. Doesn't make sense. Suspect it's the Kroenkes shithousing our fans when we sign nobody - 'we tried to get Watkins but Villa wouldn't do the deal'.
Or an attempt to unsettle Watkins as he's an Arsenal fan and surely would relish the move.
Cue an 11th hour bid for Rico Lewis as yet another right back/DM signing with City pedigree. If Villa are selling Duran, then there was no chance Watkins was going to move.
It may well be grandstanding by your board.
Cheeky bastards
I'm fuming that Odegaard let him take the pen. It was important to win to make sure we had a slightly easier path and that was unprofessional at only 2-1 up.Just seen Sterling missed pen to put game to bed lol
Nwaneri was unbelievable tonight. It was genuinely like having Saka there except I think if anything Nwaneri is more intelligent - his balls in were causing absolute mayhem and if we'd had our first choice team out tonight we'd have converted some of the crosses. One of his corners was going straight in until Timber blocked it on the line on behalf of Girona lol. Saka tends to try and beat his man over again whereas Nwaneri gets past his man and immediately either shoots or gets a good ball in. The speed at which he executes will take defenders by surprise. His cutting in from the right and hammering vicious screamers in on goal was something I've only really seen regularly from Foden over the past couple of years. You just know the keeper is going to need to save it or a defender block it. And that chance when Girona cleared it and Nwaneri decided to latch onto the clearance on the turn with no bounce and hammer the volley from 40 yards a fraction wide just screams menace - he'll be virtually impossible to completely mark out of a game as he's always going to get a chance as he isn't afraid of taking on a worldie shot if the opportunity is there. It's like he doesn't give a damn - 'screw you guys passing side to side I'm going to hammer a screamer at goal any chance I get'.Nwaneri and Skelly are going to be lit on a Saka level. Nwaneri is better than Saka as a 17 year old. Trajectories can be different, but I can feel it with Nwaneri, I am so invested in the idea we have a Saka regen here.
Sad to see his fall tbh.
I think he’d be a great signing for you. You might have to go to £80m-£90m thoughEnquiry was made last week privately to Villa. Villa prob just leaking it today when they're about to sell Duran to Saudi.
