I thought he was really good before his injury last season, not so sure now. Bring on Mangala.

Supremely indifferent to the result and also the perceived lack of fitness in our team. These guys are fully fit but have been run into the ground due to the intense pre-season (which we are still in btw).

Let Arsenal and the media have their wankathon for the next six days.

I think the team we saw today will be very different when it comes to playing in the league.

I don't.

We look a zillion fucking miles from match ready, and I expect we will look similarly miles off it next weekend. We were abysmal gash, and I cannot understand how a professional business can allow itself to be so Ill prepared for a new season.

Flap, flap, flap? No, fuck off. This was worse than piss poor and there's no excuses. It wasn't only our players who took part in the World Cup.

David needs rest

Sami needs game time

I hope the master plan works and the first team is ready to play next week. I would have been inclined to give them time on the pitch today.

It was nice to see Merlin back out there, but Yaya has to be a worry. He doesn't look all that fit, and strolling around wouldn't have helped today.

I agree regarding Yaya. He looks remarkably unfit, and also highly uninterested... but that's not really a surprise.
