Arsenal v City post match thread

There is a core of players in the team that are great with the ball and are composed, this allows the team to keep the ball and maintain possession. This shouldn't be sacrificed when wanting to stay in control of a game. You just have to stay patient .

Exactly. I don't know why it's assumed we won't win at Liverpool. Grow a fuckin pair already. We were competitive against Barca at Camp Nou and beat Bayern at the Allianz and now we're afraid of the fucking dippers? It'll be a really tough game but the shit negativity on here is crazy!

I'm not sure why anyone thinks we even need to win. A draw at Anfield would be brilliant! Win our other games, draw at Anfield, we're fucking champions ffs!

I'm pretty surprised by some of the complaining in this thread. We expected to be 3 points behind Chelsea tonight with two games in hand. We're 2 points behind them with two games in hand, and we've chalked off Arsenal and the rags away which leaves Everton and Liverpool.

As things stand we're closer to the title than we thought we would be. I'm disappointed with the performance - but I'm also fucking buzzing about what the Chelsea loss means.
Spot on. Everything is relative

Chelsea will be sick, but if we're reasonably content, Liverpool will be ecstatic

I don't know what the bookies think, but in my own mind the odds on City winning the League shortened today. Chelsea can't be ruled out, but it looks like it's City v Liverpool now

not in a million years the bin dippers will walk that Spuds are truly awful

i supose you had chelsea down for the 3 points today in your predictions

Suarez and Sturridge against Spuds back 4 - foregone conclusion.

Thought the same against the Mackems, and they could easily have got a draw at the end. Think about Liverpool's defence when Ki and Johnson came on! Nothing is a given in this league.

.....but I thought Palace had no chance; I guess two results helping us in one weekend is asking too much?

Stat of the Match:

Arsenal: Yellow card for every 8 fouls.
City: Yellow card for every 3 fouls.

On the plus side, I actually felt a lot more comfortable with our defending today.

If they keep as solid and organised as that from now to end of season, I'll be happy.

good point down there
there a top 4 team which ppl are forgetting
but 2 games in hand and just take a point at liverpool happy days

Taking Navas of was a mistake Nasri should of come of instead but good point seeing we weren't at our best

it was strange decision, Milner is much better on the left side and Navas was much better than Nasri.
Navas was just less shit, for lack of a better term. They both should have been off at the same time.

Was disappointed Jovetic didn't replace one of them

Navas was at least trying, got few corners etc.. with a lack of energy we had, his pace made him like single player who could beat their defenders.

Yeah, I was expecting Jovetic too.
