I'll take a point. Team was flat the second half and risking the wrath of a certain section of the forum, I was very disappointed with the lack of thread from Dzeko.

Theres a massive thread on Dzeko
Is this the post-match thread? If you think what I said was inappropriate, report me or make a case against what I said.

This same 11 looked like world beaters against Utd shows how shite they are lol

Exactly. I don't know why it's assumed we won't win at Liverpool. Grow a fuckin pair already. We were competitive against Barca at Camp Nou and beat Bayern at the Allianz and now we're afraid of the fucking dippers? It'll be a really tough game but the shit negativity on here is crazy!

I'm not sure why anyone thinks we even need to win. A draw at Anfield would be brilliant! Win our other games, draw at Anfield, we're fucking champions ffs!

I'm pretty surprised by some of the complaining in this thread. We expected to be 3 points behind Chelsea tonight with two games in hand. We're 2 points behind them with two games in hand, and we've chalked off Arsenal and the rags away which leaves Everton and Liverpool.

As things stand we're closer to the title than we thought we would be. I'm disappointed with the performance - but I'm also fucking buzzing about what the Chelsea loss means.

I'd say a certain team up the East Lancs Road are the real danger Billy, Expect them to beat Spurs tomorrow, they will go four clear on us with us having two in hand.

Great point there.

Media will be pulling each other off if liverpool get a result, however we've just got a very good point and I'm chuffed as the City train is well on course to be champions.

Come on City.

Couldn't disagree more.

We might have well have lost 3-0, it would make no difference. Against Chelsea we are now potentially 1 point further ahead, but with superior goal difference anyway, that makes no difference

Against Liverpool, we have just dropped 2 points.

I honestly think Liverpool will win it now. And to be fair, of they beat us at their place - which I expect they will - they will deserve it.

A wee bit disappointed with the 2nd half but a good point in the end.
What happened with their goal,i was waiting on a corner coming over next thing i knew they were on the attack.

I think our next two games are the trickiest. Southampton a definite banana skin for us.

Still 5 at home 3 away for the title.

Aguero return for Liverpool?

Exactly. And let's no forget that 2 points could have quite easily been 6, such are the margins and our record at the Emirates. At the very least five as no one expected Chelsea to lose today.

If Spurs can do Liverpool tomorrow, doubtful but you never know, it will have been a fantastic weekend. No ifs or buts.

Points better than a loss, if you dont believe me just ask chelsea. Happy with a point today, a bit peed off with the Flamini challenge on Silva, should of been another yellow which would of been a red but look who was the ref, he was quick a minute later to give Garcia a yellow..
All in all Keeps it ticking over nicely and interesting...

Should of brought on the Beast earlier if you ask me but hey ho still a point at the Emirates, lets not lose focus blues this is a tough place to get anything,
Especially after their recent run of results, they would walk through walls today for a result against us so happy not to lose...

Record of the double against them still stands but not a loss...

If spurs get a result at liverpool, then some of you guys will be rather embarrassed by some if our comments on here tonight.

Lets keep positive ffs. We can't be world beaters every game.

Could well be a great point come the end of the season. Plenty of ups and downs and twists and turns to come i feel. But its still in OUR hands.

If that was Real, Bayern or Barca they would have battered Arsenal today. Truth is were miles behind them, Arsenal were without their 5 best players today and we created absolutely nothing. Winning today would have wrapped up the title, so gutted.

It is a work in progress. But we have overcome before 2 years ago with 8 games to go, we overcame a lot of obstacles and was victorious. So the capacity for a healthy winning spirit is there. So we have fallen short a lot of times even in this new era but there have been some great moments of overcoming and victory as I have already mentioned.

The bottom line is that it is obviously not over and we are still in a good position for the title but the peoples favorite aka Liverpool will be rubbing their hands in delight.

Missed opportunity and disappointing if you consider the state of both teams but I believe it is work in progress in terms of acquiring a winning and overcoming spirit and Nasri's persona did not help the situation at all. In this sort of games you need 11 healthy spirits on your side and I believe Nasri's was bent the other way. I feel sorry for Silva as he was the only one that looked to make something happen. If Nasri put in half a shift as Silva like he did on Tuesday, we would have walked this game. Yaya was shackled by playing deep and by the yellow card so could not influence the game as you would expect. Poor goal to concede but it is still a point and the race is still on.

Totenham has to play with some heart and pride and get some points off Liverpool tomorrow. So, go totenham I guess.
