Arsenal v City post match thread

Win at home and draw away..Just an idiot would not take that against Arsenal so it was a good result and it swings the title race in our favour

Don't get the moaning... Arsenal away is always a good point
even better after Chelsea lose...
and smashing the shite earlier in the week, whats to moan at?
Onward and Upward.....Up The Blues.

A bit disappointed with how we ceded the initiative to Arsenal from the start of the second half.

That and our poor finishing when we had lots of chances. Dzeko is 10% stallion, 40% donkey and 50% bambi. Far too timid and static for a 'proper' centre forward.

I am sure you felt the same way after his game against the rags...n

I know I know it's a poor title defence we have seen in years. Oh wait we were not the Champions, thought we was with your gib..
More details please. I don't understand your point. In no way did we cede the initiative at OT. Sure, Dzeko got 2 there in stallion mode - or should that be standing-there mode? Today he was donkey and bambi.

He was put through on goal on how many times? He was passed the ball to hold up play for the the team showing attacking intent on how many times? You carn't just single out one player because we drew and did'nt win. Dzeko has got importent goals for us on many occasions this season did you forget the goal against Palace the day we could'nt buy a goal..

Hopefully this result is as pivotal as the Sunderland 3-3
I'd say its more pivotal than the 0-1 V Arsenal game, leaving us only 6 games to go in 2012, and we were 8 points behind after that, not 2 (or even 4 assuming a scouse win tomorrow), and we'll still have 8 games left to sort it out.

We are in a far better position than in 2012, just believe.

Some good pike and some much needed peace and relaxation. Deliberately distanced myself from the football as it's been a bit too intense of late. beginning to effect my sleep pattern

I'm a fisherman. Go piking up a Loch Ken every year but have started looking at new locations as the krayfish have fucked the ecosystem there. Try to get a rod out in the canal or local reservoir every couple of weeks or so.

Didsbury Dave is a keen angler too, into carp fishing so he tells me.

This post explains so much.

After so many years I finally begin to understand, it's all slotting in to plaice.

Yes. Another point gained on Chavski; Arsenal still adrift and another top four fixture is over with. Remain calm.

They were their for the taking, not a bad point though.

What exactly does that mean. Why were they 'there for the taking'. They are a good team and they played really well in the second half. They have a great home record yet we got a point at the end of a difficult week. Come on….we can do it
I´m certainly not complaining with a point, I just wished we could of finished them of in the first half.

Considering the amount of first team players Arsenal were missing and their form it was a good time to play them wasen´t it. Nontheless a point away at the Emirates is not to be frowned upon especially seeing as Chelsea got nothing this week and they faced alot weaker opposition.
