Well I suppose you have to ask are we stronger or weaker than when the window opened?

Honestly I’d say, at best, the same but we will see. I think we missed most of our primary targets Bellingham Rice Paqueta.

P.S Still hoping for a creative midfield and a left back (always) with minutes to go!

Other than the Cole Palmer departure (although not much more we could have been done with that) it has been a solid transfer window for us. 8.5/10

I’d say an 8/10, could be 9 depending on how good Doku and Nunes turn out.

Gvardiol is one of the best young defenders in the world, and will be an upgrade on Laporte.

Kovacic has looked superb so far, adds experience and looks like he’s been with us for years.

Doku hopefully brings serious pace and directness which we’ve lacked since Sterling and Sané were in their pomp.

Nunes is another with international and PL experience and will add much needed squad depth. A good signing.
