Think our squad depth is a bit thin on the ground

Phillips, Gomez, Bobb are now back ups for regular first team players - and realistically how many would start those players in any game baring dead rubber CL matches, early FA cup games (depending upon draw) and maybe the odd home game against lower prem teams.......not many would choose them......

The defensive portion (inc goalkeeper) seems fine.....attacking mid seems very light

We need to have a bit of luck with injuries (Ie not getting them)
Is the squad roughly the same but Nunes in for Palmer? Doku for Mahrez, Kovacic for Gundogan and Gvadiol for Laporte. All younger. Rodri will get far more help this serason. Alvarez is likely to take Mahrez's minutes and Foden will play far more.

Ederson

Walker
Dias
Stones
Gvadiol

Rodri
Bernardo
Foden
Grealish

de Bruyne

Haaland

Is an amazing xi with zero weaknesses.

With a bench from

Ortega
Lewis
Ake
Akanji
Kovacic
Nunes
Phillips
Doku
Bobb
Alvarez
Gomez

@Vester Let's get that 3 vote submitted
Thanks for letting me know, voted now! Not sure what the point of a vote is, we all know the majority here would think even a window of us signing Ward-Prowse, Ndidi, Harvey Barnes & Ben Mee to replace our elite level players that have left would have been at least an 8 or 9 out of 10 window based solely on the fact that we won the treble last year and signed great players in the past :)

With that said, I'm obviously a pessimist who usually fear the worst. But I always hope for the best and no-one would be happier than me if this window turns out to be a great success :)

Too early to say. Gundo going was a big loss, we'll have to see if his replacements step up.

6. Decent enough signings but losing Gundogan and Laporte means they need to hit the ground running and we need another forward which is looking unlikely.
Laporte??? We’ve a plethora of defensive options

Gundagon wouldn’t have lasted another full year of 60+ games & whatever, we needed to invest in younger players or we’d be caught out.

New contract for Bernardo is huge.

Kova and Josko very good.

Nunes and Doku still to be decided.

Shame Gundogan, Mahrez, Laporte all wanted to leave but happy for them. They go with the clubs blessing.

Palmer is a shame but excellent business.

Good loan moves at decent clubs for the younger lads.

A big fee from a Saudi club for Cancelo would have been a bonus rather than a loan to Barca.

Bellingham would have really made the window special.

A solid 7/10. Good stuff City.
