The only thing on Pep, is that we sometimes find it hard to understand how he allows people stay on the pitch, who are consistently under performing.But if we had scored our chances and won 3-1 absolutely no one would be questioning Pep. All on the players today.
We all would have loved to see something more urgent and direct up front. i.e. Alvarez.
I don’t think Pep is sacrificing the league for the CL as someone suggested. I think he just looks at the overall situation with the squad and has a whole season picture in his head. We just look at the game we are watching, but I think he looks at the the season and calculates how he will win the lot. That’s his use of the squad.
He hasn’t done it yet (won the lot) but he’s not been too far off.
We’re always there or there anouts at the business end.
It’s frustrating watching us drop what seems like unnecessary points to Villa and Newcastle but who would bet against us winning the league come next May.
