Well after an amazing season last year we were always likely to drop off a bit…… never expected us to drop off a bloody cliff! Let’s hope that is the worst game of the season done with and we start to look more like ourselves on Sunday. Recruitment has been a disaster apart from Doku. Gvardiol will come good I’m sure but Nunez and Kovacic I’m really not sure they have the quality we require in the middle of the park.

Ake is a FAR better left back than Gvardiol. Likely because Gvardiol isn't a left back at all

The club has let Gundogan leave and brought in absolute shite so we rely too heavily on him.

Phillips, Kovacic and Nunes are terrible.

No idea what the club were thinking with those buys. And the sad thing is that we're stuck with them.

Why buy Gvardiol for left back? Why not buy an actual left back?

Because Pep likes to look like some fucking hero, playing players out of position. It's definitely not working now so he's looking stupid persisting with it

I was dreading this game after Rodri and Jack got booked and Doku went off injured, managed to be even worse than I anticipated.

Jack purposely got booked so he didn't have to play against his childhood club.
