Watch Villa 2nd goal again we had plenty of chances to challenge Rogers or at least put the body across him but no one wanted to do so. unbelievable...
I think there is one maybe two who are not up for this fight , i see the others trying, we havent won what we have without a steely mentalitly , they just need some luck and get a win and some confidence . The oldies brains and bodies are not in sync , bernie has run himself into the ground for years , every game, understand why he and the others are knackeredFeel like we’ve hit a point where the players are just letting things drift away now. You can tell by the lack of energy and desire in matches.
A lot of them know it’s gonna be their last season so there’s no interest in turning things around.
That was so disheartening watching that.Watch Villa 2nd goal again we had plenty of chances to challenge Rogers or at least put the body across him but no one wanted to do so. unbelievable...
I was as annoyed at that 2nd Villa goal as the scums 1st last week, for different reasons though. It summed up perfectly our mentality at the moment. That was so disheartening watching that.
Nothing to do with tactics or age or tired.
That’s players not doing enough. Weak piss challenges.
That is a fundamental mistake, to assume something that worked in the past will continue to work in the future. Life, sport, business demand constant evolution of strategies and tactics there are so many examples where that assumption has failed. Along with many others I believe we are a busted flush, we need to start to modify our game plans we just can't go on believing that winning the possession stats is all that's needed. Allow Foden to have bit more license to attack directly in advanced positions, try to get fullbacks into over lap positions, try to play direct through the middle to turn central defenders and give Erling a chance... or let's just carry on like we did in the last 12 games, bar Forest where actually their striker missed a couple of absolute sitters...I find it amazing that supporters can question the same tactics that we have had 8 years of success with. We have had 8 weeks of failure , there is no need to question Pep. He will get it right , he always does
There just seemed to be a silent acceptance in the city end when that went inThat was so disheartening watching that.

When I watched live I had a feeling some of them were avoiding to make physical contacts. Confirmed when I watched the replay. Out of all I could only say Bernado and Grealish still arsed to work as they had always been doing and they made challenges tried to cover for the other teammate positions. Could not say so for most of the others. Some did not even step a yard to close down the space and it was not only the old ones. Terrible to watch. That was so disheartening watching that.

We can live in hopeOh, we WON'T be winning it this season, you can be sure of that .... top four could be a possibility if they can somehow find some winning form after Christmas, but even that doesn't look likely right now.
I really think it’s time some of them were dropped. It should have been done 3/4 weeks ago. When I watched the live I had a feeling some of them were avoiding to make physical contacts.
