We don’t win tomorrow and it’s a real uphill battle now. I’ll settle for a second big ears though unlike a certain club…

Are you having a laugh? We will win the league it’s still so early on in the season.
6 points behind and Arsenal are undoubtedly stronger than last year and the scousers are an absolute ball ache in title races. It’s not something we can’t do I do genuinely think we’ve got a better chance in europe though

Please no Alvarez.

Love the lad, but he is the main problem.

He is the one leaving Rodri exposed. Gives away cheap ball and doesn't get back with runners.

Not his fault, but him being on the pitch also prevents us changing the attacking option off the bench.

Wonderful dead ball delivery, incredible awareness in the penalty area, but we all know he will make way again for KDB.

Having Julian in from the start makes us far too attacking, we need any extra sitter alongside Rodders right now?
Tbf we looked just as shit at the back without him against Leipzig. Don’t feel it’s just a one player issue player personally

fixture quite interesting for comparison this week
midweek
Luton-Arse
Villa-City

weekend
Luton-City
Villa-Arsenal

we need to make sure if Arse win both we win both too.

unfortunately Arsenal not playing too well but getting last minute wins is not a good sign.

it will be brutal hard tomorrow, Villa is up for it, they can go ahead of us if they beat us.we cannot allow that shit defending we did vs Leipzig first half or vs Spurs goals.

problem is Villa is in decent form and will be able to get 3-4 shots on target, normally thats not a problem all decent teams should get 3 shots on target in 90 mins at home but currently Ederson can really concede 3 goals of those. we need to stop that.

Completely agree - having him in midfield is making us vulnerable. I’d consider starting him out wide tomorrow as we are short on options without Grealish/Doku, but then we miss his potential impact off the bench which we had earlier in the season.

Going to be interesting to see what Pep comes up with for AV.
