Aston Villa (H) Post-Match Thread

Well the PL have just pissed on your bonfire as the goal has been awarded to Silva !!

Which means we got a VAR decision in our favour...

How can people struggle with this?

Sterling was onside when KDB kicked it so if it is his goal, everything is kosher.

Sterling was offside when Silva touched it so it should have been ruled out.

So we got a decision in our favour.

Workman like first half, Artisan second half, Raz is the heartbeat of the team at the moment pretty much unplayable, naughty step for Dinho just not needed, Kyle has got some major work on his hands to get past Len, Grealish smashes into my most unlikable footballers top 5 in one easy bound there’s something not quite right about him and even though I admit he came on in a winning team I thought Phil looked more accomplished.

Only seen it once live, but even if Silva played the ball I don't think Sterling did anything to be offside. Not in keeper's line of sight and nowhere near interfering.

All part of Pep’s master plan for midfielders to rule the world.
You jest, but it’s only a matter of time before every other club inevitably copies us (again) and start fielding teams consisting almost entirely of midfielders.

Pep changes football again. ;-)
