Interesting one is that a lot of fans claim Hey Jude as their own..Brentford, QPR, Newcastle etc. I thought we started it post league win in '68 when Beatles were Number one with this...surely not many if any club beat us to that?
Most sets of fans only started singing Hey Jude in the last two decades.

Not many sets of fans can say they have original chants but we don’t do too badly on that front.

‘City ‘til I Die’ is an original City chant. Sung before anyone else did it. We don’t sing that anymore despite it being ours.

Other City originals:
Bernardooooo to ‘Voulez Vous’
‘Follow You Everywhere’
TBTITLAATW
‘Isle of Capris’
‘Colin The King’
‘Let Me Put You In the Picture’ - David Silva
‘Made of Stone’ - ‘never gonna lose, always on the booze’
‘Can we talk about Rodri’
‘He’s Brazilian… he’s Ederson’
Despite every set of fans singing ‘we love you…, we do’, we do the ‘we love you’ differently to everyone else.
United fans think we pinched ‘Rhythm Is A Dancer’ off them but we sang it for Jesus before they did for Elanga.
Also, we sung Depeche Mode for David Silva before Liverpool did for for Luis Suarez.

I don't mind it.

The club will want to play it over the PA system, and we don't sing in time with the original song. This means post-match they can play it at a speed we sing along to without offending any snowflakes.
The only thing is, the original is a fantastic song… the Les Alanos remix is bobbins.

In general these modern bowl style stadiums are very poor for atmosphere retention they often all seems dead echoey and a jumble of noise as it takes a long time for songs to travel around the huge bowls. Whereas the older stadiums are more compact and seem to trap the sound in better.

However, the design of SSL3 has squared off that end instead of it being a bowl, and the rest of the ground in the other three stands can hear SSL3 loud and clear because of that roof.

It’s a great design in terms of atmosphere (whether that was by design or by coïncidence, I don’t know) and I hope we get it right up the other end and group everyone together from the separate areas that sing and individuals that sing in quiet areas, all in the new NSL2, and the sound bounces out as one voice over there.

The new North Stand does also look like it’s going to box off that end and with the shape of the roof and the steeper walls at either side of NSL2, it should project the atmosphere really well.

Can’t wait to move there!

I honestly think if we get all our singers together in NSL2, we’ll have the best atmosphere in the league.
The new Kippax maybe? I’d love to have us name the stands. It gives our ground a little bit more character rather than refer to them as NSL2 etc

People say the European fans and Ultras atmospheres are contrived, orchestrated, fake, annoying, and they don't t like it, especially the use of a drum. i get that and accept it. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Harry Kane.

'The atmosphere in Bremen was incredible, very different from England and the Premier League,' said Kane, two weeks after his £85m switch from Tottenham. 'It was a league game, but it felt like a big European night, like a Champions League game.

'What was really impressive was the atmosphere. I have to adapt to it.'

After being asked how different the experience was compared to a typical Premier League game, he said: "It was great to be honest.
"The fans from both sides were incredible the whole game... really different to some of the Premier League atmospheres I've experienced. Our away fans were amazing but credit to their fans as well. They were great."

It was quiet yesterday until we scored. People choosing to start different songs when other Blues were trying to get another chant going. Therefore, the same song couldn’t carry across the stand, for the first hour.

It was chalk and cheese with Burnley where our end was rocking for the 90 minutes.
